Fair enough. I was hoping to sit out 45 minutes.

Pro tip: if you play ten hours a week and lobby two hours, if you pick up your chips instead of lobbying you will save 960$ a year (or more if you play higher than 2/5). If you play some game that isn't time charge I'm sorry, but I see this all the time at time charge games so wanted to rant a bit.
I was at a 1/2 table. No time charge.

I did want to remain at the same table, with the same chipstacks.

I did ask the floor about the dinner list before getting up from the table, prior to dinner. He sent me to the front podium. They sent me back to the floor. Who walked me back up to the front so I could put my name on the list.

Ended up open seating when we returned after dinner anyway.

With all there efforts to combat people walking I'm kinda surprised they don't have a 3rd man walking rule for all games

honestly, i didn't think about keeping your chipstack... that's a logical reason to avoid the dinner list and just leave your stack. i still don't like it and just wish they made it a rule across all poker rooms that you'll get picked up fairly quick if you leave, but i see why you would do it.

doesn't help if they person at the podium doesn't know how to add someone to the dinner list.

Anyone on here ever play one of their Deepstack events?

Looks like they got a series starting this Weekend. I was thinking of heading down to play one.

Would be curious to hear from ppl that have played it before.

Thanks.

Phenomenal bunch of guys with too much $ and ego to play 1/2. Overall weak pool IMHO.

I stumbled upon an unmentioned new rule when I was there last: anybody can call for a clock. Previously anybody concerned with the action at hand couldn't.

Also, big plans afoot besides the already-in-progress revamp of Mixx (which will encompass murmur as well):
• a new pool/club replacing the Festival Park
• "The Marketplace Eatery" replacing the Cafeteria
• a new restaurant replacing 28 West (and supplanting Fornelletto)
• updates to other bars/restaurants on the main floor

Really? In the state of NJ they will lose their license to drive. I believe its either 6 months or a year. Plus a fine of course, and all chips will be confiscated and forfeited to the state. Then i would imagine the Borgata would ban them for life. So looks like a totaly +EV situation to me.

i've seen numerous guys ID'ed when they sit down and then just kicked out. unless law enforcement is pushing them to call the cops... they don't want to deal with it. they don't hate that you're giving them business... they just aren't allowed to accept your business yet.

come to florida. 18 to play poker.

Just sitting down = hasn't been served yet. Sorry kid, you're too young, get back on the marble floor.

When they find someone who's already in a game, I doubt they let it go. It can't be in any way worth what the state will do on discovering that a casino has swept underage gambling under the rug and the casino's employees conspired to do it.

Yeah ain't that something. That's why Hollywood's poker room entrance is outside and seperate from the casino. Took me 15 minutes to find it (ask someone). I commented that's stupid having it outside, and someone told me they have to so 18-20 year olds can get to it without being on the casino floor.

Yeah i played at pompano and it was off the floor too now that I'm thinking about it. Seemed like a logical answer at the time. Guess it was an option they took in Hollywood.

Neither of these stakes exist at borgata or anywhere in AC? Read the first post.

Any promos going on today (nothing said on bravo)
I came to Harrah's for the 350 hh but keep getting bumped by diamond club members

Is it worth leaving and going to borgata (looks like long wait there too)?

The HH 350 at harrahs is pulled from the extra promotion drop they have; it's defiantly better if you like deep 1/2 action otherwise id recommend Borgata to save on promotion expense.

Does anyone know if there's a route to getting a black label card upgrade other then making the $1000 mark per year?

When I got mine I was playing a combo of a lot of poker and craps, after I lost about 1500 in 15 minutes at the craps table and was a little pissed, I went over to the main players card desk, talked to a guy, he was no help and I finally asked if his manager was there, she came out and within 5 minutes she gave it to me, I had about $700 comp dollars at that point. Whether that's standard or she was in a giving mood or what, I have no clue
