Is there a difference between cash and tournaments?
in tournaments, if you have a hand you cannot call the clock on your opponent. this makes sense

Uhmm... No, I have called the clock both ways, and had the clock called on me both ways. Someone thinks they know more than they do, unless the rules changed in the past month.

I don't think it did.

Me too.

I spoke to someone and was told that this happens every month to a "lucky" few people, seems like a crappy system, the person I spoke to sent an email to Marketing and said that I should have my bonus comp dollars on Monday 6/8/15.

I will just email customer service, they will at least forward it to the appropriate department.

^^^

So if you are UTG, you can sit there forever, and no one can call clock on you because everyone has a hand.

I don't think so!

Don't know what IT they're running, the bonus comp redemption issue shouldn't be happening ever, let alone on a regular basis.

It's a little bothersome because we are given a limited time frame to collect (ya it's almost a whole month but personal life schedules), and stuff like this makes follow up on our end necessary. I'm worried there's a nonzero chance customers could end up not getting rightfully earned comps.

Of course anyone can call the clock on anyone else (unless this rule has changed recently, which would be stupid).

It doesn't make sense any other way.

I've definitely been told you can't call clock while in the hand. but who knows..the floor make up **** all the time when they don't know the real answers. I will try and get an answer for sure when I go tomorrow

Nope. Those with a hand can't call the clock at Borgata and it's been that way for years.

dont agree with the rule, but this is correct there...

unless it has changed since 2013, when i was told this was the rule.

if you're UTG and refuse to act, i believe once the floor got to the table (because obviously someone would call clock regardless, so the dealer would call the floor), the floor would probably just tell you to act or forfeit your hand, ipso facto, essentially calling clock.

it's a weird rule, but it is what it is.

What did you guys play in May? May had some weird rule (that I never saw at borg before, for bonus $$) that the bulk of your hours had to be at 2-5, which I found weird and vague.

103.5 hours all at 2/5. Customer service gave me a BS answer so I told them to forward my message to the poker manager and host.

I agree this is a disgrace, should not be jumping through hops for this.

Couple of questions:

Are you a regular of the poker room? How about a regular(or a semi regular) of the pit and/or machines?

How high do you play?

Are you a Black Label cardholder?

All of those things matter.

If you've put in the time and aren't a complete fly by night type of guest, then call and ask to speak to the poker host. And, if you don't know her name, then you haven't put in enough time.

And, if you're inquiring about July 4th weekend...GL with that. I already booked my rooms but I did it long ago; you're gonna need some serious "play" to obtain a room on those dates, so, hurry up and call ASAP.

Not for July 4th weekend. But thanks anyway. Will see what I can do. I definitely don't put in enough time. 😢

Does anybody know if the nightly events are on during the Deep Stacks Challenge?

In particular, I was wondering about Thursday 7pm Black Chip Bounty.

When can we expect to see structure sheets for the summer open? I'd like to reserve my seat for the heads up before it sells out but would like to review structure sheet first.
