Due to spending the majority of my life at the moment buried in work and weeping softly I've completely overlooked the fact that it's the Pokerstars London Festival this week. Big shout out to any of my friends playing in it, I know at least one of you is in the £2k HR at the moment so good luck with that.

The only MTT I think I have a shot of making it into with my work schedule being how it is at the moment is the £330 London Cup. I've sold 25%, if I sell enough I'll jump in, will probably chuck something up in the market place this evening.

Anyone else jumping in anything this week?

Potentially flicking the London Cup too. Will hit you up if I make it down.

Sweating a friend in the 2k main, currently around middle of the pack with 43 remaining. Will be heading to the Hippo if he makes the final table to rail. Good excuse to leave the office early.... Run good!

Good night at the Hippo catching up with some old friends and seeing HL go deep. He got crippled late on but fought back to end the day 4/5 in chips with 25bb or so.

Had a decent spin on blackjack with a very entertaining table where I stayed a little too long but was a good laugh.

I'm not going to be able to get down for the final as I'll be in the office but will have to be railing on pokernews.

Also managed to get a better photo of the trophy.

Back at The Hippo for the final table!

Great run by HL picking up 3rd! Little unlucky on the last hand but there are always ups and downs through tournaments.

Inspired me to play live this weekend, especially as the GF is away and I will be free to play as much as I want!

We're on for this weekend! First up is the £100 at The Mint Cromwell Road in Kensington then the £330 London Cup at the Hippo.

£100 at the Cromwell Mint was a little disappointing. Started off absolutely sun running on my first table and spub the 32k opening stack up to 55k pretty quickly hitting sets all over the place. I was really happy with my bet sizing during this tournament and my hand reading. I like to play a little game with myself when I'm not in the hand assigning people ranges and sometimes actual hands and was really pleased with how I did.

As is the case in these daily MTTs the blinds quickly sky rocketed and I busted 18/51 with AQ vs TT for 11-12bb. Disappointing but I don't feel I misplayed anything horrendously over the course of the evening.

Really looking forward to playing The London Cup later today though I have heard nothing from the guy who bought 50% of me. I've tried PM'ing and Tweeting him but no reply. What's the accepted practice here? The guy is a very respected player but had no serious interaction with him in the past and obv theres a (very small) risk of getting freerolled. Do I open a reserve list and give until just before tournament?

We're at the Hippo and lucky to have a seat! Came down three hours early and only 16 seats left. Bagged it up and find out they've pushed it back so now I have 4 hours to kill in the casino...

Obviously I head to the baccarat table and hit a 6 tie for 45-1 off the bat. Blackjack next?
