Another swingy day but again showing if I sit and grind it out I can usually turn a profit. Also made a semi deep run in the 20 fpp VIP tournament I played at the last minute.

Want to build on this weekend and get comfortably into profit from now, hopefully move up in the not too distant future.

Quick addition, someone in our stable just outright shipped the Bigger $162 for $43k, sick life. I'll be there one day!

Cheers

I'll have to wait until I'm home this evening but I'll be happy to. If you can't wait just search quickly through PGC or use the search function and it should be easy enough to find.

Hi - I'm interested why the UK election results couldn't really have been better for you and your friends? Are you friends with any MPs?

I won't really go into detail because it's a pretty emotive issue for some people and it's not what I really want the thread to be about. I'll say I think it's in the best interest of the economy long term and works out pretty well for me personally. I think it was going to be a tough 5 years for this country whoever won but I believe we're in a good place going forward.

I know many won't agree with me and I'm happy to discuss it away from here but not keen to derail this thread with politics.

Need to get a game going up there one day! My directors had one at the top of the Gherkin; maybe time for a regular City game, or at least one I know about...

Trying to sort out some backing/staking and if it comes off I'm going to put in a big weekend live in the £1/1 games in London. I feel like a proper weekend of poker, hopping around games and running up the roll!

Booked a small loss over the weekend, lost just over a couple buyins but nothing too exciting to report. Back grinding online now!

Booked a win in the £1/1 game at the Vic. Got a little out of hand in the club last night.

Sorry, for the radio silence, bit of chaos in the old personal life. Nonetheless, should be more debauchery and partying here on out....

Nothing to do with poker my friend, but i'm an ex military aviator of 27 years. I was once told by one of the top aviation psychologists in the world, that the most dangerous thing in the world was an amateur pilot in a helicopter. I could bore you with the maths but in essence a private pilot who suffers a gearbox failure in an R22 is going to die.

Just saying

Agree with everything you say, he was a professional pilot for 10 years though as well as years of teaching and coaching both amateurs and professionals. I wouldn't get into one piloted by a friend without that kind of background. Appreciate the concern, I know the numbers on it and have seen horrendous accidents such as Colin McRae a few years back.

We're off to the Scilly Isles this weekend!

I'm all good thanks, keeping busy and with friends so all good!

Unfortunately I wasn't doing the work on it myself but still a few niggles to work out which we can play with.

Read the whole thread from 1 - 19, very cool and interesting stuff!

I also play cash 1/1 a 1/2 @ Vic part-time and work in Real Estate in London.

As you are working in recruitment maybe you could give me some advice how to get a better job

I'm happy to catch up for some beers or so
