AQ I'll tend to 3bet or fold SB vs UTG so I think this is a fine 3b. Postflop, remember a typical range for cold calling a 3b is very strong. Fortunately he's a fish, unfortunately he hit.
JT is fine.

Thanks man, really appreciate your input with hands and respect your opinion! I think I should perhaps keep up 3betting but be aware that when I get called to exercise a bit more caution even if I hit.

Hey man, thanks for dropping in! I'm awful at poker so I have to make it interesting somehow... Hopefully I can actually learn some online poker stuff this time around and make a bit of success out of it!

Good evening!

If anyone is about in London; I've had a kind offer to put me into the Baby 5-0 at the Vic this weekend. I'll be playing Day 1 Friday evening and if I make it I'll be back on Sunday for the final day. It's a 10k guarantee so it would be nice to make a run in it, maybe get some cash for a small live roll....

I'll be tweeting from it and I'll keep the thread updated should anything interesting happen.

Sad times, I must report my desktop computer died this morning at 7:27 with no hope of revival. At least I have a laptop.....

I was always better at live poker anyway.

Busted the 5-0 unfortunately, nothing too exciting.

I'm in the $10m Guarantee tomorrow however for a couple of bullets so fingers crossed!

Christ I hope you weren't one of the unlucky ****s to make it in that milli sat and get T$ cos the late reg ended. Not sure who was in charge of structuring that sat but I imagine they're fired haha

Nope, I bought in directly so I didn't get caught up in that issue. I made it through the first few hours, lost a couple key hands, namely AQ to AJ and then TT to AQ for a 40k pot to get me back in it. I did make a run in the Storm and cashed for $76 and min cashed the Bigger $11 for around $22 so the day wasn't a total disaster. I'm going to be playing some more MTTs for a while for a friend of mine, I had a lot of fun over the weekend and I'll keep it going for a while!

I started back in college today for my next set of accounting exams, Financial Account and Reporting and Audit Assurance; not the most engaging day but the amount of material they give us is insane. Nice change of pace from the client work we've done over busy season.

Hope some of you guys made a decent run in the Million!

Morning all!

My first week playing MTTs is over and it's been fun. I've not been able to get in the volume I wanted and I had to miss Sunday as my GF went home for a month on Monday so wanted to spend the evening together but I've got the bug. We didn't have any really good deep runs unfortunately but I don't think we ran that good in spots where we could have built a stack.

I definitely realise I need to work on my MTT game and have got a Run It Once subscription which has a load of videos I can watch so hopefully I will become less awful!

I've also started my courses for my next set of professional exams. They're 2 months away so I have plenty of time and I'll make sure I keep a good balance of studying and playing, maybe alternating days or something to that effect.

I hope everyone had a good Easter and ate far too many eggs. My colleagues and I had a lovely weekend in the country and headed down to the point to point for some betting on the horses. I had a pretty good run and went 3 for 3 before we decided to bail due to the driving rain and bitter wind; the pub was in order for a few beers!

Onwards to the next week, hopefully we hit a FT or at least make a deep run!

So today will be my first proper Sunday grind and I'm beginning to see what people talk about the Sunday excitement. When I played cash it was the same every day, but the possibilities that lie ahead on a Sunday give you a reason to get up. I know that they will often end in crushing disappointment, but there is always next week!

Am going to play a big schedule regging from around 13:45 GMT and will happily play late tonight as Wrestlemania is on. (Yes I'm a massive somewhat closeted nerd).

Second week is over and I'm glad to report a winning week! I definitely have a Sunday to thank for it and it wasn't anything big but I'm still pleased! I had a good run in the Sunday Storm and busted in a reasonably high variance spot but I'm happy with my play.

Not too much else going on in my life unfortunately! Revising a lot for exams and back working in the office so that's taking up a fair bit of time. I've dragged out my small dumbells and am going to start running again; I was really happy with the progress I was making in my running before January (running up to 10k) but busy season just killed me and I haven't been out since.

I have a load of hands to run in ICMIZER 2, I bought the subscription so I better start using it more!

I could have horribly misplayed it but I really feel overall I'm playing so much better in MTTs. I'm disappointed not to final table or better but these results just giving me more motivation to keep on pushing for those big scores!

It's all setup now for poker, too a while to get it up and running as it's the first time I haven't been using a Mac. I've also got an external screen so I should be able to grind in a little more comfort. Hopefully it brings some rungood!
