I haven't seen any significant increase in reports of this.
Is Windows fully updated? Graphics driver updated?
Is it worse when playing with HUD?
Please reproduce the problem and attach a screen shot (Task manager > Processes > Sorted by CPU) -
http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen...screenshot.htm
Please send us some log files with the screen shot.
Enable logging from the HUD options->Table prefs menu. When the crash happens again, go to the logs\log.txt file and move it to another location before you restart the hud. I want to get the 'crash' log.txt file after you finish playing. If you restart the hud before moving the log.txt file, it is overwritten.
Please email them to
support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name.
Please attach your holdemmanager.config and prefs.xml file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager and prefs. Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default.

From your Windows "Start" button, select "Run..."
Type DXDIAG in the "Open:" field and hit Enter.
DXDIAG will start, and may display a prompt that begins "Do you want to allow DxDiag to check if your drivers are digitally signed..." Answer "Yes" to this query if it appears.
A window entitled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" appears, and in the lower left corner, a progress meter begins to advance towards the right as DXDIAG collects information relating to the system's hardware and Windows component configuration.
When the progress indicator disappears, hit the "Save All Information" button. Save this file as DXDIAG.TXT where it can be easily located. By default, DXDIAG will place this file on the Desktop.
Note: If you do not see a button that allows you to save the output, you will need to log on to Windows as the Administrator.
Attach this file

I believe you will have to create a new database and import all the hands for the new stats to work. No reason to reinstall SQL.

Any thoughts?
What sites do you play? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Please update to the latest release -
http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe
Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.
Try the table finder -
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+
Make sure you follow the directions exactly.
Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it
If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.
Left-click and drag the red X to that table window
Click OK

If your system is slower it can take some time for the update and it may appear frozen/crashed.
Try to launch \rvg software\holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe and create a new database.

Could be useful..
I believe a combination of filters would be the only way to review this scenario -
