Recreating the HUD solved my problems. I played my usual number of tables today and it worked fine. It also seems to be lagging less

Which folder, exactly, are you referring to? This one?

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\No teCaddyDefinitions

There is no way to change the path that these files are saved to so you will want to make sure you manually backup/save the files if you are worried about losing them as they aren't part of the 'backup' tab in the database manager. Space should not be a concern as they take up very little actual data/size.

No. All the files are being saved to "C:/" So it's not even in the Program Files or the Holden Manager 2 folders. They don't take up much space, but it's kind of annoying to see all these files. They might have been from NoteCaddy when I was using it with HEM1.

There is not a 'save' menu/option but once you create a set of colors for one stat it will be added to the drop-down list of default colors, but not until after you have closed and reopened the HUD Options menu. This necessity to close/open the HUD Options menu before it is added to the drop-down list is a bug we hope to get fixed in the future but I don't have an ETA for when that will be fixed. It isn't perfect, but it does work.

Thank you for letting us know it solved your problems at this point and please let me know if you have further problems after more testing.
Unfortunately, the newest version of HEM crashed a few times, so i went back to the oldest publicly released version, and everything is fine. Thanks again.

Hi guys,

I had a problem with HEM the other day that I was able to resolve with a reinstall, but I have a new problem now. When I try to open HEM, I get this message:

"Unable to read data from the transport connection. An existing connection was forcibly closed by a remote host".

Then it asks me to enter the "Server Name" and "Port Number" to find the database.

Its been so long ago that I first installed HEM that I cant find this information, although it still has values for "Server Name" and "Port number" where I would inter this info, but when I hit enter I get the same message from startup.

Thanks for your help.

Please enable both Additional Hud filters: Include hands from other limits and mix ftp rush and non rush hands.

This is the parameter SessionTimeoutDuration (default 30 minutes) in the holdemmanager.config file (c:\program files\rvg software\holdemmanager\config\holdemmanager.config ).
Please close HM before editing the file and create a backup copy

Please reboot your computer and try again. There is either something wrong with your internet connection or our license server was temporary down.

Any chance you could add an option to bring up the replayer when a user clicks one of the last 3 hands? The format of the window that comes up now is horrendous. It literally takes me 5-10 seconds to identify the showdown hands, board, and equities when that info should be clear as day.

If I moved Postgres SQL to an external hard disk drive would HEM's performance worsen and how?

Why have you changed this when I am trying to save a graph to my pc?

Previously I just click "save as" and it saves as a .jpg and now I have to click on this and it opens another window and then has to load all the data again!!!! Especially horrible for a big sample size!

Bring back the previous option please.

Click the 'Settings' menu > 'Replay' button to open the Replayer. It will have all the hands listed for this session but they will be in reverse order so the most recent is on the far left.

If they are the same speed the performance differences should be negligible. If the external HDD is slower than the internal HDD/SSD it will be noticeable. Externals are often 5,400rpm while internals in most desktops are 7,200rpm.

I agree with you. I don't think the developers should have replaced the old method with the new method. I think they should have added the new method to the old method so we have 2 options in the right-click menu and have written a ticket to bring back the old method.

HM-4724: Graph > right-click menu: bring back 'save as...' option

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When HM-4724 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I don't have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, we are putting out updates regularly and this is marked as a 'critical' bug in our system and should be fixed soon.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-4075. We will often release builds on a limited basis, only in the forums for a few days first, so please check back in this forum http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When HM-4075 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

I've been using Hem2 for a a few months now and I only imported hands from 2011 onwards (I have hands going back to 2006 on my Hem1 database). I'm looking to free up some space on my hard drive so can I just go and manually delete all these old, pre 2011, hand history files?

When I go to Opponents tab -> Summaries in down right corner I have Group Profile and have option to choose to look different states bar graphs, for example for VP$IP I have these:

What does player count (X cordinate) represent (number of players at the table?) and what does these 0-2.5% 2.5-5% 5-7.5%... and bar graphs represent. Can somoone explain this picture for me?

Make sure:

- these 2 options are enabled: HUD Options > additional hud filters > filter by limits > [x] include hands from other limits, and [x] mix ftp rush and non rush stats
- preferred seat is set in HM1 HUD Options > Seating Preferences
- hero name is set under HUD Options > Set Hero Name
- prefetch off in HUD Options > Site Options
- stars hh folder is in autoimport and that autoimport is running

If you continue to have problems, Please email support@holdemmanager.com, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer. Please let us know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

Please read this important information before our teamviewer session. We cannot do the teamviewer session until all those issues are addressed below:
1 - Make sure you have updated your windows using the "Windows Update" feature http://www.update.microsoft.com/wind...&&thankspage=5
* - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).
2 - Make sure Holdem Manager is updated to the latest version http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/d...ds-manuals.php
3 - Please make sure you have access to a good connection, we cannot provide support on really slow connections
4 - Please allow us full access otherwise it slows down the speed at which we can fix the issue
yeah this still isnt working, is this teamviewer stuff normally quick? because i dont really want to wait for a few days for it to be set up while in the meantime a new update comes out and we could potentially be going through this same process again.

player count means how many players in your database have a certain VPIP. The 0-2.5% ect. stand for the VPIP % and the higher the bar graph the more people fall into that VPIP % category. In your example there are little over 10 players that have a VPIP between 17.x - 20 and 10 players who have 20 - 22.5 VPIP.

I hope that helps
