Last Man On Earth was awful. No way it is going to see end of March. It would have been funny as a skit, but a half hour a week? The act wore thin for me pretty quickly. Will Forte is just not that funny in this, and his neighbor is not any better. I wanted to like this show, but it is a fustercluck.

Battle Creek was definitely pretty weak. It wasn't funny, and it was really flat throughout. I think that's more due to Bryan Singer's crap directing (his House Pilot was really bad too) than the script, but even the script was pretty uninspired. I'll reserve further judgment until I see a few more, but potential seems pretty low for this. CBS seems to have been right putting it in mid-season, as almost no dramas they air there make it. It debuted on the cancellation line for ratings, as well.

Glad to hear. I stopped watching after three or four eps to specifically watch them all over a few days basically back to back.

I enjoyed it a lot but week to week felt like a bad way to watch it.

Just watched Dig. Looks like it should be pretty good. My only concern is Tim Kring, listed as one of the primary writers, was also the primary writer on Heroes, and Touch. Basically I am just saying that he has at least a recent history of starting off strong, but then seemingly fizzles out.I hope this is not the case this time because I do want to like the show.

wow only one other post about Danger 5 ITT. I think most of you would like it. It's like a cross between Team America and Inglorious Bastards and Austin Powers, I guess.

American Crime was good, will continue to watch. I think they over-developed the parents back story, unless...

Spoiler:
They are somehow involved in the drug dealing or murder. They paint the father (Hutton) as a washed up gambling addict and the mother (Huffman) as a do-gooder who raised the kids on her own and wants vigilante justice.

My overwhelming feeling is she wanted to see the suspects in order to plan a way to cover her involvement in the drugs. She is spinning the public perception of the case from jump street. The father will probably turn out to be the nice guy who didn't know squat about it.

NBC Cancels Allegiance (Duh) and Moves The Slap

Yea, I was losing interest fast in that.

I'm still watching The Slap, God help me. It's like a new show every week, which is probably not a good thing. This last one was all about old Greek people.

Damn, my over/under on Allegiance before the yank was 5. It aired exactly five. They should have yanked it after the 4th one as there wasn't much of a cliffhanger. It would have been terrible if they had yanked it after the third.

Love Kimmy Schmidt. Definitely killing it off this weekend. It's very similar to 30 Rock, which is exactly what I hoped.

Really, really disappointing if CSI Cyber is truly dead in the water. I strongly, strongly recommend it. Funniest new comedy of the season, laughed more than even Fresh Off The Boat. It's like someone watched Scorpion and said, "C'mon, they're not even trying to be dumb!" You think Scorpion is a checklist of clichés? Ha!

CSI Cyber is Danger 5 for Americans.

Possibly my favorite random lol moment is when we're introduced to Dawson's character. He's playing a light gun game in an arcade (so, Dave & Buster's?). Because he's so badass that even when he's not on the job he can't stop playing with his pistol. His cellphone rings. He pauses the game to take the call.

Of course the fact that he's a gamer will be significant later in the episode... (I was so surprised!)

It's either that or when Arquette (absolutely terrible in this) is questioning someone they zoom in on the subject's physical tells (including an fx for emphasis). Like an episode of "Lie to Me". Except that was, you know, the whole gimmick of that show - here it just comes out of nowhere and is only a directorial choice in case the actor doesn't adequately convey their emotional state by, um, acting.

The plot is completely absurd:

Spoiler:

A gang has switched from smuggling drugs to hacking babycams in order to select kidnapping victims. The babies are then auctioned off, live, during a middle-of-the-night kidnapping as part of an international baby selling scheme. Because that's an obvious career path. And because there aren't a hundred other ways what's essentially a biker gang wouldn't go about it instead.

(Spoilers in case anyone decides to imbibe any legal or illegal beverages or substances and watch this thing - You will not be disappointed!)

NBC didn't have anything to pair it with since they're pretty much out of comedies.

NBC Universal owns it so they sent it to Netflix where it will have a chance and it's already been renewed.

I turned it off about half way through...Just so many cliches...I think I turned it off a few minutes too late. I heard it was bad, but I said to myself, how bad could it be?

... I finished it already.

it's 30 Rock... except slightly worse b/c no Jack Donaghy, but I liked everyone on the show.

they even made Martin Short - the one black mark on the original iteration of Arrested Development, imo - hilarious.

5 episodes in, I think I'd prefer a little less of Jane Krakowski.
