Oh good I'm glad some people agree with me about Idiotsitter. I checked it out because it got a decent review on the av club and it was total garbage. Sometimes I don't know what they're on over there.

Baskets was quite good. Incredibly well shot.

I thought Teachers was really funny, but it didn't quite work as a show. It seems like a really long webisode or skit. That said, it was funny enough to keep me for the season. Seems like a show where you don't need much continuity. You can tune in and just laugh

basket's mom was hilarious. i wont say who plays her because the surprise was part of the joke. i laughed out loud just at the sight of her. and i love when she was chugging the drink and had the mishap and then just nobody said anything lol!!!!

and basket's sidekick insurance agent is pretty great too. you rarely get to see a character plaid like that on tv.

and of course his wife is good too.

i think louis ck is one of the producers of the show

imdb said zach did his own stunts with the bulls. i was wondering about that. some of them looked pretty hairy.

i doubt he was the one who almost crashed the scooter, but whoever did that, it was damn risky.

loved baskets premier.

have been really looking forward to this since the first real preview, and knowing louie teamed up with zack I had really high expectations.

I thought teachers was better than baskets. Its not really my kind of comedy however. A few laughs but nothing special.

Teachers was laugh out loud hilarious a bunch of times times in the first two episodes.

I haven't laughed as hard at a new show as I laughed at teachers in awhile. I kinda criticized it for being a bit sketchy and not seeming to have much ability to have arcs, but then I realized I've never criticized IASIP or other great comedies for similar. Teachers could be just incredibly funny in its own little bubble, and I highly recommend that too.

Here is a trailer for Animals, a new HBO animated Series. I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm definitely going to check it out.

Lucifer seemed pretty boring.
Couldn't get into The Magicians.
I never watched the original X Files but the reboot doesn't seem too good.

Younger is on season 2 and I have watched from the beginning. Pretty decent, its on right before Teachers. Hilary Duff is pretty hot!

Suits is back tomorrow!

I watched the 1st ep. Really hokey dialog. Rumor from reviewers is ep 2 (last night) and 3 get better, so I'll give it another chance.

Ep 1 of x-files was plain bad.
I'm still going to watch the other episodes because . . . history. Watched every episode when first run.

Lucifer looked like it would be boring even though I want to check it out.

I just got through Season 4 of Shameless and a lot of people said that was the best season of the show. Not sure I entirely agree. Still vastly entertained though and I can't believe I've waited this long to watch.

It looks like there are four episodes in season 1. They're titled "Rats", "Pigeons", "Cats", and "Dogs".

From a Deadline article:

Quote:
Animals revolves around the downtrodden creatures native to Earth’s least habitable environment: New York City. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove startlingly similar to our own.

The prepare for the new X-Files seasons, I got my hands on the entire series. I never watched it before (was 5 when it first aired, **** was scary yo).

Watched s01e01 - 04 yesterday. Pretty fun to see top FBI agents on those huuuuge computers, walking around with a map to find their way, being stuck without a cellphone, and so on. There was also one of the 4 episodes where the killer apparently hibernates for 30 years before killing again, and a whole conversation where Mulder goes "if we don't find him now, we'll have to wait... 2023!!!" and it's like YEA ITS SO FAR, but now it's not.

I quite like that. Watching the early episodes of a show with the added knowledge that it's going to be successful kinda changes your way of watching.

Anyways, it's about 200 episodes long, plus 2 movies I think. I might get into the 10th season a bit late...
