I have now a folder with all the scoring rules printed from the all different DFS sites I play. It is a challenge to keep up with all their scoring quirks and all other rules. Hence why sportsbooks do not feel challenged for their customers. They have so many straightforward markets to play and DFS is going stay a niche.

For now I am liking bet4best, salary free and a scoring that appeals. They filling all their contests and hardly any overlay. Europa League contests filled up and the big plus you can join to play at any time. So most avoided the Europa League game on Wednesday and Thursday early kick off. Then entered teams after seeing line-up for the later fixtures. Looks like their game will appeal to most.

I wonder how Mondo will respond to DK's arrival. Guess they will add an app and also swap features. Their scoring might get fine tuned as well for next season.

Still amazed they have not added filter features in the lobby for the varying contests and leagues. Looks like a jumble sale right now with all sort of contests chucked in there.

But I can not see any of these sites attracting more than a few thousand unique customers who will deposit and play regularly. Mondo's win a million perfect line up marketing has not even attracted 500 unique players. As for Draft Kings their UK free-roll's are in the low thousands.

Interestingly BuaBook will add European markets in the coming weeks and their site had a recent revamp. Will be trading there with addition of all these markets. So you can trade season long or match day. They look very slick to me and can see them outperforming the DFS platform's with all their quirks.

I don't think DK think they've launched yet. I think they had to put SOMETHING out because their sponsorship deals were about to be announced. Those deals signal that they're going to launch seriously at some stage though. Branding deals are what you do when you've already got the marketing in place, because the marketing has a much better return when you're small. They did it in the wrong order as they expected to be launched already.

DK are in trouble in the US and that trouble could easily escalate. They are going to have to make money elsewhere, and I suspect the reason they got Jeffrey Haas is that he was at PokerStars when they adopted the same strategy post-UIGEA. He was Asia Pacific business development manager at PS from Dec 2006, so as little as six weeks after UIGEA.

I predict DK do their "real" launch on 1st Jun, for the European Championships, or perhaps start advertising during the CL final or similar. We're pretty much beta testers at the moment. What I don't get is how come they aren't ready to launch already, they must have had at least a year, it doesn't seem sensible to me that their first move was to hire Jeffrey in the summer.

Weekend DK looks pretty bad, seems to me like everyone is gonna have pretty much the same team bar 3 or so players.

Skip this one, minimum line-up. Next week Tuesday and Wednesday with five fixtures each looks much better. Will fine tune the seasonal games I play this weekend. Swooting on Ligue 1, Serie A and Bundeliga, polishing rusty knowledge from these leagues. I can see other sites offering them for play with decent prize pools.

Everyone will have Vardy, Fuchs, Mahrez. You can add Stoke players too. Differential play looks slim pickings Chelsea might score one or get shut out. Watford might just score one or could end in 1-1 draw. The other game can go in similar fashion. Not every slate is daily fantasy.

Without question on DK's volume of games and all variety of sports. But I can open a sportsbook and they have all sorts of markets every hour every day. It is over saturated here.

Anyway it is nice to see the legend of DK Sir Max. Guess he is scrapping the data from who scored or squawaka. Or can afford to subscribe all the data from Opta. He had so many teams thought he was going to have it line them up from top to bottom placing in cash positions. It is funny!

This was the ideal weekend to have all the 8 fixtures in one go. But hey they want to rake people twice in consecutive days. Making profit comes over gameplay always to these sites. One can not be naive, as such play accordingly.

FPL is a variance fest. Having to make decisions between players who do nothing all game, but score, and players who do positive things but might not score is fun.
