As far as I am aware, that "inept algorithm" is actually the opinion of the match reporter, so if you can work out who they love/overrate, you can do well.

The match reporters must be on heavy booze or taking the piss out of us. Just before the end of most matches it says star man gained for example to Ozil or Eriksen, then two minutes later star man lost to Ozil or Eriksen. What sort of nonsense is that ? Can not they wait till the match is fully over to award the star man or who was rated 7+.

The European game has so many players and teams missing from it, looks like they add players retrospectively seeing which teams are doing well and progressing from the knock-out rounds. Mondo's database of players stats from across the leagues makes them look one-dimensional.

Will be great to see their customers migrate to DFS and no reason why it should not happen in due course. No need for star man rubbish. DFS sites only need a quarter of their customers to migrate over to start with and looks from what I am reading that is their long term strategy. Seasonal games are ripe pickings for DFS.

They offer Bundesliga on FanTeam and also have decent free-roll's too. Check closer to the weekend on the lobby and you will see contests posted by Wednesday/Thursday.

The salary pricing of players is very odd to say the least. Be prepared to spend hours just drafting an optimal line-up under budget. Truly feels like fitting a square into a circle. Not fun!

Most sites do not offer Bundesliga fantasy as they wary of legal issues regarding rights to images and licensing. I have asked Mondo why they do not offer Bundesliga at the beginning of the season and here is their response:

"We miss Bundesliga too. It is beyond our control and its not likely we'll have Bundestag contests this season. We're sorry."

Well, I've checked on Saturday and haven't seen anything. Bundesliga is going to play this TUE/WED and I've just checked again but there's just a bunch of other leagues.

I'm either very blind or they really do have different offers for certain countries. (I'm in Austria)

The timing of it is surprising. Guessing FanTeam were being cheeky and thought they can get away it. So more likely they got a heavy lawyer notice from Germany saying cease and desist.

It was one of their popular games with decent prize pool and contests that filled up.

Most countries will go this way and ring-fence their markets. Global DFS is nice wish but just that a wish only. The other site is fine as their game is more free play than a monetized business.

Have a read here and you can see between the lines. There are operators in Germany who have cornered that market. So what is the betting DK will be forced to segregate the business and stop joined global prize pools ? Highly probable that will follow in the US.

There is a heavy match-up at the weekend with Bayern Munich playing at Dortmund. These two teams take intensity to another level, can not wait to see that game. Fireworks! Both are so far clear of the third placed team even Barcelona are not that dominant in La Liga.

I won one of the DK freerolls on a Champions League night, think it was the gameweek Draxler scored twice.

1st place is 2x tickets ($500 value apparently) trip to Anfield 2moro night for the Liverpool v Man City Premier League game (I am a United fan btw). I will be getting the train down there 2m lunchtime.

Yeah, few ways to play it, go with the strikers with big upside; Vardy, Lukaku, Costa but high variance.
Or go with all expensive mids/ expensive defence.
Hell you could even go with Vardy/Lukaku & still have a good midfield if you went cheap on defence, even with some alright fullbacks:



But then you're missing out on the defenders with massive upside... Very interesting slate!
