if it gets so bad you can't brush your teeth, see a physio. he'll make you feel great pain, over several weeks. eventually your elbow will be fine.

if it isn't quite that bad yet, ice is good, and stretch before hitting. and advil.

Remembered. It worked great again except battery drained super fast. Gotta remember to lock the phone between shots.

you could also look to get an external battery. i've used the re-fuel by digipower for a few years while traveling and it's been great. i also used mophie for ipbone before that and it worked just fine until the battery pack and the charger cable decided to not connect to each other anymore.

Yeah any gps app for golf I have used kills the battery like crazy. I used to just carry a second battery with me.

So my golf game just took a turn for the worst. Playing soccer last night I dislocated my shoulder. I was able to pop it back in, and played out in the field instead of in net for the rest of the game .

Super tight this morning, popping sound and in quite the discomfort when i move it. Off to the doctor I go. The tournament I was supposed to play in next week doesn't look too good right now.

Yeah I had that a few years ago. Just take a few days off, take something to get the inflammation down, and don't hit off the mats at the range. Hitting down on the concrete won't help your elbow. Try to only use a grass range.

I'm getting over that right now. If its on the inside its golfers elbow and if its on the outside its tennis elbow. I think I got from doing a ton of pullups at Crossfit. I did some Googling on how to treat it and basically:
-stretch it out
-massage it
-don't do anything to irritate it for a week or 2
-get this: http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Band-Sport.../dp/B000FML7SW

Aaron Wise (the kid from UO that won the NCAA Championship) won the regional in Vancouver and will play in the Open.
Run like the sun.

I played royal oaks Sunday morning (brother is a member). Saw the 2 Oregon guys and all the other people trying to qualify out there on the practice areas while we were playing (drove #10 with all of them right behind the tee on the practice green; that was cool since I waited for the green to clear and was about 10:1 to look like a moron).

I'm surprised at the discrepancy between the Oregon guys. The course was playing fairly easy. The rough wasn't penalizing at all and the greens were perfect, rolling true and still soft enough to hold all irons.

Of course they may have made the pin positions really tough on Monday which is easy to do there with tiny greens and huge slopes.

i've played oaks a few times and the greens can be a bear if they have them running hot + tough pin positions. biggest key seems to be hitting fairways and keeping the ball below the pin on the green. getting shortsided = getting ****ed up the ass.

Hi guys, looking for a little advice on where to play near Albany, NY. I'm heading there 6/30- 7/4. A nice escape from my girlfriends parents will be nice

Playing Boulder Creek in Ohio tomorrow. Last time I was going to play there got weathered out of it. Long ass course 7400, so probably playing 1 box up which is still 7000.
One of the more expensive courses around here but still only $65. You can get good value on golfing in Ohio. Also have a tournament Sunday. Will be my first real one since the one last month got snowed out.

Here is Boulder

Broke my 3 wood today. Pretty clean break so the shaft should be fine to tip and use as a 5 wood shaft or maybe put it back in the 3 wood. The head flew a soldid 65 yards

Or it could be a good chance to make a driving iron if the diameter works.

Not sure. Card, which I wasn't keeping, said 39-43-82 but it sure felt worse than that. 1 birdie. Not a familiar course so I can't go back and figure out a real score either.

Anyone here deal with Ping after a club breaks during normal playing conditions? I was at the driving range Saturday and my the shaft of my driver split near the head. Ping G30 just purchased last year. I'd rather deal with Ping directly than go back to store because the store is about 40 minutes from me.

Yup. I took the head off my 5 iron with a shot a few years back. Ping was super easy to deal with. Filled out a form from the website and shipped it directly to Ping, they fixed it and shipped it back. I don't remember what the cost was but it wasn't bad. Turnaround was pretty quick.

Has anyone uses GolfTec before? I am going to get some lessons which may involve an upheaval of my swing. Not sure if it's worth it to try them or to go with a local pro at a club.

I would like to know this as well.

I used them to get fit for clubs, but that's it so far.

I think it mostly depends on the pro at golftec. Heard some good things and people improving and heard some who hated it.

Don't commit to some big package until you know if you like the guy

I took lessons there. It was OK. When I go for lessons again (probably later this year or next year) I am going to try something else.
