I went to a buffet at... a baseball game (lol me) last night. I ate ~3.50 lbs of prime rib. This morning, I weighed 3.50 lbs more. That is some mother****ing science for you.

omg, of course someone brought donuts into the office this morning. #DonutShaming me while I'm trying to lose a few kilos.

Did you pay more or less than $35.0?

More. I paid for my friend too, since he gave me the ticket and they were good seats (but for the lol White Sox).

I did win a bet where I got a free hat though (terms said it couldn't be a Cubs hat though, so I chose Royals for reasons that shall be unenumerated itt.) Which led me to think, with Chicago's taxes and full-price stadium hats, is $44 the most ever paid for a KC Royals hat? Maybe. k.

Tell me more about this bet.

Its been raining a lot in lovely Iowa lately. During the last big storm this kid (17 not really a kid) got sucked into a storm drain and died. Sad. His friend jumped into the storm drain to try to save him, got sucked 1.25 miles through said storm drain and was rescued in the lake in which the storm drain finishes. What a beast. I would have been all like k

It was boring. In the first game of a double header (and we had just gotten there), the White Sox had the bases loaded with no outs bottom of 9th down by 5 and prior to next hitter I bet they would score <=1 run, my friend (Sox homer) bet >=2. We bet "a reasonable hat", which obv led to interpretation lols.

ETA: At least three girls yelled at me "are you from Kansas City?" after this. (I said yes, obv. Also said nothing else to them, also obv. Top lol at talking to new people irl.) So there's an idea for you talking to girls irl bros.

lol Royals

In other news, I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights, so after a massive dinner of Greek food I went to sleep at 8:45 and slept for 11 hours, which was just what the doctor ordered.

I am officially an OLD, time to see if Chipotle has an early bird dinner special.

If I ever end up in a situation like this I hope I do the heroic thing as well. Although I already failed at this once. A few years ago I had a dinner with friends, got drunk and went out. A few blocks further there was an apartment that literally just bursted out in flames as we walked by. Three of my friends (we were 5) ran in, took the stairs and ran out like 2 minutes later carrying a child and a grandma.

I stood there just staring at the flames totally frozen. But I'd like to believe that was because my own house (parents, where I grew up) burnt down to the ground just 3 days earlier, and I might have been in shock. Afterwards we continued going out and I got totally depressed drunk that night yelling at everyone what kind of a pussy I was.

I bought a Royals hat while I was in KC once. Don't wear it too often because I don't give a **** about the Royals and don't really remember why I bought the hat.

So you're saying that you went to a double header instead of watching USA#1 in the world cup?

Did you at least wear your hat sideways with the KC logo pointing towards your friend?

They do, it's $7 but you only get single meat. Then you go back for second dinner and get double meat!

Guac: every time?

That had not occurred to us, dude.

No, I watched the Worlds Cup first. I yelled "aggggh hnnnng urrrrrrrr NEIN ACH DU LIEBER AUGUSTIN" on the close attempts and it made my kids cry. It was ok.

Huge surprise that Syndrome lets kids literally die in a fire on top of everything else.

Seems like that was the point. He would rather spend $7 on non-double/triple/quad meet at Chipotle than eat the cat/dog aids that Syndrom posted.
