can someone help a roflnub with sportsshouting

This means the Pats, Cards, Panthers, Broncos are guaranteed in playoffs, and the 8 teams below are the only teams drawing live to enter.

what's that about highest-lowest seed though? Does that mean they'd take the best and worst team from each division? Probably related to the fact that Vikings are a lower number seed than the Redskins despite having a better record, which I also don't follow.

And yes I realize none of this matters since the Patriots are a lock to play and beat some irrelevant nonpatriots team.

No, the 4 teams up top are the top 4 currently, which allows them to skip the wild card round. But there are more teams than that that are guaranteed to go to the playoffs (any team with a letter x, y, or z).

The 6 playoff teams from each conf are made up of the best of each of the 4 divisions + 2 wild cards (the next 2 teams with best records).

Regarding seeding, the best plays the worst in each round, 2nd best plays 2nd worst, etc.

ETA: 1 more question I didn't answer: the 4 division winners are the top 4 seeds no matter what. So the Vikings are projected to be a wild card, even though they have a better record than the Redskins, because they're in a tougher division that they didn't win (Packers currently).

Umm... what?

On the top of the image. Pats, Broncos, Panthers, Cards are the top 2 in each conf currently. Both the Broncos and Bengals are guaranteed in the playoffs, but currently the Broncos have a week 1 bye and Bengals don't.

No, this is what the matchups would be after week 16.

In the NFC all of the teams listed will make the playoffs. They may however switch seeding depending on a couple week 17 games.

In the AFC all of those teams will make the playoffs BUT the Jets & Texans.

The Steelers will replace the Jets if they win & the Jets lose.
The Colts will replace the Texans if they win & the Texans lose & a couple other tiebreaker related things also have to happen iirc.

I don't know what your current average is but 10k steps seems unsustainable. What you gonna do when you get sick/hungover/etc?

Might be doable if you're talking about a weekly or monthly average. But obviously some days you aren't gonna get 10k in.

My fitbit counts biking as walking so I average something ridic like 20k/day.

JF kept up a pretty big streak of 10k+ days

Idk if anyone even cares, but this whole mason malmuth vs patricia cardner thing makes me not want to read either of their books.

yada yada yada, it goes on for a lot of posts I didn't read which leads me to miss important information on this chick, Seekingplumb.

Yesterday, MM posts thread in NVG that seeks out 2p2 users help to identify an anonymous critic which in turns into a womanhunt. This person was identified and users shared personal information including her contact info and address. See that thread here.

Other threads involved:

Mason asks if Cardner is correct

Cliffs: Mason doesn't like Dr. Cardner and doesn't feel like she is qualified to write a book about poker and she feels that he isn't qualified to talk about the psychology of poker. Mason also doesn't like anyone that disagrees with him.

Well after reading your cliffs I won't be clicking any of those links.

Have you ever seen that picture of Mason? ****ing ultra nerd. Sweet pocket protector bro

Dude is also friends with David Sklansky, not a lot going for him.

Oh geez I'm familiar with Cardner a little through a podcast I listen to. Meh. Pretty neutral on her. MM is just lulz around as far as I can remember.

Also freddy-birdy- 10k steps are super easy to get if you aren't sick or injured. I did snap my streak and pay up on a fluky thanksgiving day where I simply forgot and came up like 900 short. You just have to do it. It's really not hard at all, 10k steps/day is absolutely attainable and legit pretty easy as long as you just don't forget or get sick/injured.
