2 posts in a row, may be bored or everyone is asleep.

Picked up some cider (Angry Orchard) today as they were priced low. Put a couple in the fridge. Had a Stone Ruination Triple IPA (was ok, but nothing special IMO) which may have affected my senses, but ciders are pretty tasty. I got nothing else, just wanted to pass this info on.

It was pretty good the time I had it, which if i recall correctly was the loin done fairly rare like a steak. Would definitely have again, but not something I go out of the way to get at a premium.

Started off with beers at the beach, moved on to White Lady's at home then about to hit a whiskey in front of the fire to ring in the new year.

Happy new year, bro's.

No idea what the white lady is, but everything else sounds good! Happy New Years a day early my southern brother.

Dang. I actually ate a fair amount of 'roo jerky when I was dieting. Well, it was mixed with beef, but still. Was gonna eat more this year.

It's a good baseline for being healthy, or something. Plus most of the time it's pretty easy and I like the challenge on the tough days. When I went to Tahoe I would get up early before the poker tournaments and get my steps in. Good way to start the day and prepare my mind. And a good exercise in self discipline. I also do my Spanish lessons when I walk.

I'll take the under on 8k steps a day average by May.
Out of curiosity, I looked at my steps average for 2015 without having any bets on it, just trying to get them the majority of the time. 10.2k average so it's really not very hard, and there were some weeks and months I slacked off.

I had a pizza today with avocado on it. They called it a California pizza. Chicken, bacon, green onion, avovado, ranch sauce, white cheddar cheese. Crust was really good (But I knew that going in) and the avocado bites were really good. The rest of the pizza was pretty pedestrian and didn't have much in the way of exciting flavors. Even the ranch sauce was below average and spread a little thin leaving the pizza a little on the dry side.

They are. Very popular in France. Hopped ciders are excellent as well.

Nothing better in life than listening to Euros rant about "proper cider" like Strongbow.

Isn't Strongbow just 1 step up from hobo fodder?

Angry Orchard is OK but I recall most of them being too sweet. I like it pretty dry.

Everyone talking about the LC thread dying last month -> 1200ish posts this months is pretty good, I must say. Let's keep things trending upwards in 2016; hopefully BTM, Syn, and Evo can take one for the team and include some of their ridiculous dating stories in here to keep things flowing.

I have a good one I've been saving for Jan.

Depends on the version - some are dryer than others. But I just find Angry Orchard tastes much more strongly of apple than other brands, if that makes sense. Most of the others I've tried taste more watered down, like weak apple cidar.

IDK if AO is all that sweet but I have a pretty pronounced sweet tooth so it's possible it's not all that sweet to me but would be to others. Stuff usually isn't "too sweet" to me until we cross into pure frosting territory or something like that.

Also why the **** does my iPad want to capitalize apple? FFS.

All hail the return of the LC thread! Congrats on 2015 everyone, .

I'm not even sure my posting volume was much in 2015 but I suspect it may be even lower in 2016, so please forge on in my stead, .

if the lc thread is slowing down might want to consider quarterly threads instead of monthly

ygos,

Not acceptable. Please refresh the gender unclear folder in your photobucket account in preparation of the new year.

I'm aware monthly lc threads are a time honored tradition, but it does cut down on the number of posters.

Drinking cider is a huge botch if beer or liquor are available

Hm, I wonder

"Smartphones" know company names and will capitalize them without you telling them to. I've had that happen in regular text messages on my S5 and after the fact was like wtf I didn't do that or choose to do it but they were correct in doing that to a name.
