I agree with all this. I haven't played ultimate for a while but throwing the disc never hurt my arm. I was way to terribad at throwing forehand so I never did it. It makes sense that my arm never hurt since I never threw that way.
My buddy's arm never hurts from throwing side arm, it's really tilting that mine hurts to bad. I can feel it when I'm lifting and it doesn't interfere but it is mildly painful,
