Easiest way to get gold from my alliance toon to my horde toon?

Eh? Eh?

Go to the neutral AH and list a grey quality item for however much gold you are trying to mule from one faction to the other. Then jump on horde character @ the neutral AH and buy the grey item, presto, you now have gold on your alliance character.

Be warned though, I can't remember off the top of my head, the neutral AH takes a large% of that gold, like 15-30%. Google your question to confirm the %.

You need a friend to help you out. You can't post an item with one character and then buy it with another character from the same account.

Yeah, that, or just go in trade and try to find someone to do the deal with/ask a guildie.

I play Wow off and on as well, have major problems doing anything in life other than WoW when I do. I usually do it in 6 week doses after Im burnt out on poker. Have a couple questions on selling accounts characters.....

Can I sell my whole account in one swoop(3 70s and numerous alts from 15-50)? or can i piecemeal it out according to demand?

Does it have to be to someone on my server(stormrage)?

If its sold or xferred does it show up naked and goldless and devoid of recipe skills?

And if theres a serious offer Id take cash on a poker site if I make up my mind to sell.

Ive pondered what to do with it as I really like parts of the game but just cant devote the time at 70 that it takes to be in a quality guild. I love pve but dont care for WoW pvp at all. But no ****ing way can I raid 4 hours of US primetime 2-3 times a week and pugging Kara was a nightmare even with a hunter specced for Kara CC and a shadowpriest. I do kind of like the idea of a 2p2 guild *IF* I play again when Lich king comes out. $25/char isnt horrible OR a lot of servers offered free offloads when TBC came out as you couldnt move around Honor Hold for 2 weeks on Stormrage when it came out.

I really effed up. Feel like I should never play WoW again after what just happened.

On the plus side: I forgot to pop my Talisman of Arathor.
Beat: I used a health stone.

if youre not twinked, never duel someone with a lvl 19 29 39, etc....they are ALL twinks(except i think 69 as its gheyness toonified). especially rogues. the skillls gear and UI are all geared for pvp. he has pots, trinkets, and other nasties ready. you will lose. think like a poker player if you want a duel. search out a class yours does well against and challenge someone a few lvls higher. apply some gap theory to it.

Yeah I knew he was a twink. I checked his armory first, and honestly thaught I would defeat him w/ ease simply b/c I was 9 levels higher and had some decent gear.

Its my first account though and I am not very good at fighting ppl 1 on 1 yet. It involves alot of skill IMO. Thanks for the advice!

Step 1: Inspect character:

If pants = 12 agi & 40 stam
-> Do not duel

If pants != 12 agi & 40 stam
-> Duel

Cmon, that guy is 9 levels below you and has 200 hp more than you (though his choice of hat is perplexing). Toss a silver spellthread on you and I bet you coulda won.

You probably can't beat a twink Hunter at that level even with a nine level advantage as you are not going to be able to cast anything with a casting time, and you can't kill him very quickly with instants. At level 42 you get Death Coil and you will probably not lose to a much lower level class again, as it gives you an instant CC and some health back. At level 46 if you keep going down the Affliction tree you can make Howl of Terror instant cast as well (it's an AOE fear that you get at level 40).

You might like to spec out of Empowered Corruption as it does not do much at low level - you have 90 spell damage, so the talent is essentially giving you about 30 spell power on one ability.

Better choice imo would be Nightfall, that way you can stick a Corruption on both the Hunter and his pet, and spam Drain Life to hopefully get some free Shadowbolts. Stick Siphon Life on both of them as well, of course, Curse of Agony on the Hunter and it might be best to Curse of Weakness his pet as they hit light and often, so the dmg reduction is decent.

btw your gear and spec are very good for a first char!

This is my dude:

Agree with poster above me not too sure about the Hunter's hat, think 29 twink Hunter should use Pathfinder's Helm of the Monkey, or Lucky Fishing Hat.

So I use to play WoW way too much and now working two jobs I don't have the time to raid anymore. I am looking to sell my 70 Rogue in T4+ gear on a PVE server (I know, was a noob when I first rolled) with 16,000 gold, PVP gear, gems, etc. etc.

This toon's gear is enchanted with all the top enchants. I have put quite a bit of time and effort into him and he will be ready to raid T5 and entry T6 content. Be.imba.hu score of 220+

If interested PM me and I can tell you more.

How demanding is this game?

Thinking of picking it up today but only if its possible to play poker on the side, 2 tables I guess. That way I can feel good about putting a lot of time into it. Is it possible or too busy?

For soloing this should be a breeze. If you are grouping with others, it might be a little more hairy.

Ok, cool.

Going to run out and get it now. For partying I'll just explain my situation to the group I'm sure they'll understand and show some patience.

I got in the habit of 4-tabling $55 SNGs while playing WoW. With some keyboard shortcuts for the poker, it was no trouble at all.

Mint. I'm finding it easy to 2 table cash games on the side, but still...the addiction...it is setting in. When it comes down to it I don't think this was a very good life decision. oh well.

I'm level 16 and haven't been in a party or talked to any other players yet. At what point do I have to party with people to level or do quests? I feel so alone.
