Tough spot, knew I had the best hand on the turn, just had to dodge a heart or a K to be guaranteed decent money.... oh well.

From the other post of all the hands you were delt, I think you could work a bit on tilt control which would be massively +EV. Try and be less emotionally attached to your game.

For sure, I've been thinking about that quite a bit. I want to learn how to do that better. Where to draw the line, considering emotion is a natural response to something that engages and stimulates us. I downloaded the Eightfold Path to Poker Enlightenment and am looking forward to watching it.

op i dont know if you've already decided, but I wouldnt take the 2.20 180 stake deal because you will be stuck playing them a long time, plus you could play it easily out of your own roll. And its not like you need coaching to beat those. And you should continue to play Omaha because its a lot more fun than hold'em! Twice the cards twice the fun imo

Would definately be interesting if I was on it, although the drop in my pulse rate was pretty full on (went down to 29 bpm). Interesting clip. I know at least one of us are on placebo.

1) Yeah so far I have done well, I had a bad start but have grinded my way back, plus shipped a donkament for $688 which put me back in the black

2) Hahaha no not quite. They wake us up one at a time in 15 minute intervals, everything is staggered to enable the nurses ample time to do ecg's, bloods taking, blood pressure etc, and being 5th in line by the time I'm awake the sound of virtual chips clicking is already general in the room. Perhaps they announce the beginning of their sessions with such exclamations as you have described, but even so they wouldn't make their way past my plugged ear canals.

Nah, we all know each other's screen names cause there's so much "Can you ship me two bucks so I can play" going on... but it can be fun to look up their sharkscope to call bs on their big talk about crushing the game hehe. None of them actually knew what sharkscope was, which was kind of interesting. They keep putting bans on their account, so all of them have Stars & Tilt downloaded now.
