Stoppedclock is one of Gary's friend's friends/students

We couldn't find any connection to rongrong. I personally find that evidence to be unpersuasive.

Seriously, I do appreciate Jalex taking the time out of his to help the bettors, but he is actually helping Gary case in my eyes. Looking at the those hands, if he wanted to collude, there were opportunities there. ESPECIALLY the hands with rongrong.

Can you explain what those hands are supposed to show?

i think all the little links that jalex found connecting gary's friends with some players who sat at the table are interesting, but other than that everything else seems pretty normal and definitely possible over 30k hands. Still no incriminating evidence yet, gotta dig harder if you really want to prove something.

how is this hand enough not proof...i mean he's trying to build a pot to hit his straight, then then ronron out of nowhere bets 2 on the river and milita folds so we can't see ronron's cards?

Post # Lucky 7.

Okay, here's my summary....sorry for lots of posts, but I can't imagine trying to put all that crap in one post.

First off:

  1. Let me reiterate that I have no vested interest in this, other than I hate cheaters.
  2. I will NOT accept any money for doing this, so don't even ask. If someone wants to ship something, go donate something to charity in my name. :P
  3. This was about a day's work for me after it unfolded, BUT there are a TON of things that I didn't look at that could turn up more information. Ultimately, I think we're at the point of diminishing returns.
So, in summary we have:

  1. A player with the following results at $1/2 NL - 737k hands, -$18,316, -.62 bb/100.
  2. Out of the blue? he decides to put up $2500 of his money to do a challenge that he can win money during a massive 30k hand multitabling session in under 24hrs.
  3. During that session, we have THREE players who have ZERO history at $200nl show up, and they lose a combined $1411 to the player.
  4. TWO of these three players are PROVEN to have a connection to one of the players friends before poker.
  5. Gary three bets with total bajunky against two of these players.
  6. Said friend is active in this thread advocating his friend's case. One of friend's stakee's is also active in this thread, and has a connection to one of the suspicious players, neither of them volutarily are up front about their connections to this player - Nostalgica did admit to a vague relationship over PM to Blackize when asked.
  7. Individually none of the hands are damning, but together? The fold of QQ to the minraise against a 78% fish? Really?
  8. There's other nit picky ancillary crap, like the fact that Gary initially didn't want to setup a web cam, the tone of certain posts, etc.

Personally, I think it's IMPOSSIBLE that all of the above 'coincidentally' lined up to just look suspicious. I think there's very little doubt there was foul play going on. If it had just been breeezzz involved, I would have argued for a push - with the additional two players, IN MY OPINION there was something nefarious going on.

Just remember, it is going to be IMPOSSIBLE to prove this short of them admitting it, or Stars showing up with more proof (which I've asked them to look for).

Occam's Razor imo.

This is all my opinion, I'm not hiding anything that supports either side and I've done the best I could to find evidence. I don't hold any of the money, but if I did, I'd return the money of the folks that bet against Gary and hold Gary's money pending hopefully some involvement from PokerStars.

PS: Sorry for the drama, I spent alot of time on this, so that added some fun to make up for the boring parts.

basically, over the course of 30k hands people to whom gary had connections to lost money to him at the peak time of the week (i would assume, i dont play those hours) for ppl to take shots and play drunk/tilted/horribly. it's shady or whatever but i would imagine that if i played a 30k hand session i would have connections of some sort to a huuuuge number of people who were at my tables including some who might be playing way higher than their normal game. we're really grasping at straws here and i still think it's a travesty if gary isn't awarded the money.

It would be pretty impossible to directly collude with hand information, he was ON A WEBCAM. However, they certainly could have had standard bet amounts, 'omg if i minraise foldddd', 'if i cbet, i have something', 'fold if you have something good, call me down if you don't', etc.

Again, it's PRETTY damn hard to prove anything without every hand history and people admitting guilt. It's the internet and if these guys are indeed guilty, they certainly were TRYING to cover it up.

Okay I've briefy gone through the past couple of pages, and it just seems like all you're doing is filtering out all these fish and post all these weird hands against fish (and most likely aggro fish at that from what I can read, although I can't rmb the stats they had during session etc) that would otherwise be played differently against regs (whether I look spazzy on my part, or Villain looks chip-dump-like in his part). If I am gonna be condemned based on this, I think there are A LOT more Villains in my database (say Villains that have lost most money to me) throughout the past 30k that LOOKS like chip dumping to me simply because he plays bad, so its srsly ridiculous and ludicrous to use all fish in my database as concrete evidence of me cheating. I mean all that is happening to me is that you are trying to use ANY POSSIBLE "suspicious" evidence to try to condemn me, which to be honest comes up so often if you want to keep looking in the rest of the 30k hands.

Also second, I had webcam on for the whole 20 hour stint, except for a short 10 minute period where my firefox crashed (I don't know how I can prove this, or prove that I wasn't doing anything shady during this webcam downtime) and also if you want to suspect that I cheated DURING session with my real life friends in my end based on the fact that the Asian kid playing need not be the real MilitiaRusha or like I could be cheating over the phone or like I could be cheating with a buddy with an internet connection next to me, I HAVE NO IDEA as to how that could be proved, and all I'm gotta say is that I did none of the above.

Again, I do not know Breeezzz, Stoppedclock, and rongrong.

You are seriously grasping at straws now. How did he build a pot? He flopped an OESD + flush draw on good board to CB so he did. The turn card is the worst card in the deck for Gary to double barrel. Check back and take a free card. Villan leads min on the river. Fish do this to me all the time. Gary has 8 high... what does he beat? He can call just to see his hand, but there were times when I was playing a ton of tables and didn't even notice the bet size and just folded. I prefer raising here to calling.

Never mind, they have NO OTHER CASH GAME HISTORY AT $200nl on stars. Otherwise, sure that's a great argument.

These guys play MICRO SNG'S.

Anyways, I'm done. I'll let the mob, Blackize, and potentially pokerstars be the judge.

My final thought is that I hope justice ends up being done...Gary if you're innocent, I'm sorry for making a damning case. If you're guilty and your friends are guilty, I hope stars confiscates your accounts.

THE END. NITE NITE.

Can you explain what those hands are supposed to show?
You realize he was an unbiased judge and didn't have any agenda right? He wasn't trying to help the bettors prove collusion, he was trying to get to the truth and he posted all evidence that went either way. I kind of agree with you though although the stuff with the friend's stakees losing to him seems kinda fishy but there were definitely opportunities to collude with those players that he obviously did not take.

and also, if he was on web cam and 20 something tabling the whole time, how was he suppose to contact so many people to chip dump to him??? Even if it was all planned before hand it would be pretty hard to tell which player is which when your player against that many players on that many different tables over such a long period of time, i know i sure don't know whos who even when im ten tabling.

gary, sad to say but it looks like your a liar and a cheat, very sad that you had to stoop this low.

why do u need this money so bad? what have u done that u need to resort to cheating?

did you honestly think you could get away with it?

these questions i would like anwsered once the decision has been made that he cheated.
