In all fairness I think you're right with either ruling its cheating or not, voiding the bet is a lame way out. With this new info coming out things deffinitely gt interesting - but its the Judges call I guess.

not to derail but fwiw zachvac im prob not betting on 2+2 again bc of your ruling on the other bet so its ironic you talk about precedent being set and bad rulings. You guys as judges in the other bet just decided to give him 3 arbitrary extra hours even though H2t said himself obv PL hands should not have counted....Theres no way he deserved that extra time yet the Judges had final decision - so I assume judges(or judge in this case, original judge should have final say but welcoming input is obv not bad) would have final say here as well.

Okay, so now that I'm suspicious, let's take a look at the hands vs breeezzz.

Now in the thread earlier, we had two arguments for the 86o hand being no big deal:

• First, we had a volunteer (Wraths unanimous) review the hands and saw other 3betting activity and didn't really see anything unusual since he was 3betting crap.

• Secondly, we had our good friend Nostalgica post his opinion...

As has already been mentioned in the thread, Gary's 3bet % for the 30k hands was 5.2%. He was playing 20.2/15.7. In my years of play, I don't know many nits that would 3bet garbage versus unknowns, but there's always a first time for everything...

So, being the curious guy I am, I asked Blackize to run a few specific queries using the wizardry that is HEM:

• First, let's use the SAME scenario that happened between him and breeezzz...breeezzz was cutoff, Gary was sb. So let's do a filter in HEM where you have that exactly situation and see what preflop hands Gary had:

Uh-oh, that's the only nonsuited garbage he 3bet the ENTIRE 30k hands. Red flag...but wait, maybe it's because I only filtered cutoff vs his small blind! So, let's open it up...

• Let's see what it's like when he's the small blind vs BOTH the cutoff and button:

Hey there we go, now we have ONE more hand, J8o.

• How about if we open it up to BOTH his small/big blinds vs cutoff/button:

Okay, so one more A7o, which isn't exactly TOTAL crap.

So, we're not really talking about him 3betting a bunch of junk hands out of position, certainly not tons. I would definitely consider a 20/15 player 3betting 5% AND playing a ton of tables, spontaneously deciding to 3bet something like 86o while he's juggling everything else totally out of character. However, alone it's not damning enough to judge this as something nefarious going on probably.

If this "novel" ends with anything except you having damning evidence that he cheated then I think handling it in this matter is pretty stupid. Like it's all great to appease people in BBV who want a juicy scandal, so long as you are not riling people up for no reason. Your second "chapter" or whatever it was seems pretty stupid to me. While it was the only unsuited hand he 3 bet in that position, it seems that around 20% of his 3 bet range in that exact spot over the bet was pretty much garbage right? That's certainly with you bolding all sorts of stuff to say how much it smells... it doesn't seem that out of whack considerign how often he 3 bet suited junk. With the drawn out egging on, you are encouraging comments like

Let's analyze that player shall we?

• Hmm so we have a poker session loaded to weaktight by StoppedClock where he won a SNG, congrats sir! This was loaded under the weaktight account: SallyStrawhead.

• So imagine my surprise when I click on SallyStrawhead's profile, click his weaktight Friends tab and see:

• Pretty amazing coincidence!

So this got me thinking....Nostalgica coaches sit and go's right? I wonder what Sharkscope would show for all these mysterious people.....

• Breeezzz actually wins at SNG's! His AVERAGE stake is typically around $3.
• StoppedClock sadly seems to be a loser. His AVERAGE stake is $2.

Does anyone else think it's suspicious that we have two microstakes SNG players that are friends on weaktight with a SNG coach show up during this prop bet and lose money to our hero in epic fashion during hero's prop bet?
