how does one "act like vegas will die without him"? specifically conor in this situation?

Was there more than just Dana saying Conor doesn't want to fight there?

Vegas won't die without him but apart from rousey name me one person in the fight game(boxing,mma whatever) who generates the dollars like conor. It would be a huge knock to the local economy if he did boycott Vegas for a while. It must also be said he doesn't just fight there once a year, he has fought four times in Vegas in the span of a year.

Vegas will be fine without him but let's not act like this isn't a big deal.

The Athletic Commission specifically is shooting themselves in the foot and biting the hand that feeds. They also have massive issues with the Diaz brothers as well who have connections with Ronda and she was very vocal in her support.

These are the three biggest names in the sport...

Throwing bottles into a crowd is unacceptable. If the fine is insignificant to them you are essentially permitting the behavior, which is basically promoting it. I don't have a problem with any aspect of it except where the money is going.

Surprised to see how low the DC/Rumble line came in at.

I know Rumble didn't prepare for DC in the 1st fight but DC did wear him down and eventually get the sub. Figured he would be a decent sized fav for this 1. DC only -135.

Was the bottle glass or plastic? I was assuming plastic so I didn't see it as a big deal although still punishable in context. A glass bottle to me would be a big deal and would constitute assault the way he hurled it.
