I feel like he's going to take Alvarez very seriously and he'll have a solid plan against his wrestling.

the presser was awesome

I was hoping Dana matched Conor against CM Punk for the heavyweight title next. Disappointed.

Aldo will be fine. Sincerely doubt he's going anywhere, he's just butthurt. Maybe rightfully so, but if he just waits it out he'll get a rematch. He's not gonna turn down huge money next year because he's butthurt today.

It's probably good negotiation, if he sits tight and says nothing vs acting like he'll go to bellator/rizin he can probably get some more dollars out of uncle dana, and the drama will help raise his profile and sell tickets as well.

After a year of nothing but Nate and Aldo I think Conor is making right choice to fight somebody new. I am way more excited for a new opponent than I would be for Aldo again. I know nothing about Eddie so it will be fun to watch.

I agree with this overall, but the Brazilian fighters seem to have invested for personal and country pride and respect than most. To Aldo, he probably feels he was publicly disrespected in front of all of Brazil?

Damn, stubhub is showing ~750 bucks for the cheapest nosebleed tickets. Thought about it, but don't think I'll pull the trigger at that price.

Wow, the cheap seats did get gobbled up quickly. Seeing the same now.

It is going to be a packed house. Kinda wish I was working the in arena show. It is a blast to work with the in house crew, but there is a lot of status to get a 4K credit working out of the TV truck.

My friend and I split a fight club membership just to get access to yesterday's presale but the cheapest available were $600. This morning we had codes from a bunch of places...the code for getting the free UFC newsletter did the trick. To my knowledge it looks like the majority of the cheapest tickets are being saved for tomorrow. Haven't seen a $250 or $400 ticket anywhere. UFC employees who had earliest access are now being forced to give back their tickets or buy them for $900 after the backlash from the public about not being able to get tickets in the presale. Tomorrow is going to be a free for all madness.

First card I will buy in awhile, I'm picturing it like this. So hype!
