Haven't kept up for a while, but now think Teo's draft status will get affected by this. Usually all it takes is one team out of 32 to believe in you, but here that team is going to have to look past the incredibly glaring creepy gay overtones of lovey-dovey talking with a *man* for thousands of hours as the best-case spin scenario you were able to put out. This subject has come up here and other places. It has less to do with this taking place at Notre Dame as it does that Te'o is a devout Mormon. He doesn't engage in casual, premarital sex the way the stereotypical BMOC would. One of the linked articles even suggests that the online GF thing is somewhat common among Mormon boys and men for this reason.

Of course,the opposing argument is that's all cover. The way this story has folded or unfolded, we'll never know.

Also, is it just me or is that voice not super questionable? That does not sound like any female voice I've ever heard, and I'd be questioning that thing from the very beginning.
