I know this is "lol, sample size," but the Hawaiians I knew in college were very insular and did not trust outsiders, but readily trusted each other. From that group was a sub-set of Mormons for which this dynamic was more dramatic - if you were Hawaiian and Mormon, you were trusted unconditionally.

The Hawaiians would spend a lot of time with mainlander American-Samoans, but there was still a difference and they were not on the same level as a Hawaiian.

Anyhow, I can believe that Manti was taken in hook, line, and sinker from the beginning given the fake was Mormon of Hawaiian descent.

Someone called me out earlier about ND lying about this chick to their benefit after they supposedly knew she was fake. What can I say? I hate Notre Dame and will take any shot I can at them.

That ESPN interview was predictably poor. T'e"o is clearly dumb as rocks and I was kind of looking forward to his strained expressions while lying, but what can you do.

Tuiasosopo is obviously the better interview get but, and this is rather macabre, what are the odds he offs himself?
