Colts probably would have won today if the refs had called the clear PI on the 4th down play.

Stat of the day: 5th year RB Jackie Battle had 118 rushing yards in his first 4 seasons. He had 119 vs the Colts today.

Didn't notice the Casey injury. Mario tore his pect on a 1-handed sack thing.

Basically Mario being Mario. He gets some stupid ding every season. Battled turf toe all his rookie year then I think the next year he had an ailing shoulder all season. Hip another. Now pect. Neat. 6'7" 290 and made of styrofoam.

Horrible drop obviously but it was yet another bad touch pass from Schaub. It ended up being a "back shoulder" touch pass. Vickers wasn't hit in stride, and had to swivel his shoulders around (which also slows him down).

Additionally, that was not gonna be a touchdown. There was a linebacker (or someone obv. much faster than a fullback) who was bearing down and looked like he would have tackled him around the 5. Fullbacks aren't fast. Especially when they aren't hit in stride.

It's a good thing we couldn't shell out the staggering amount of money for Vonta Leach.

My brother just texted me and said Mario is out for the season. Not sure where he heard that but if that's true we could miss the playoffs now.

Especially when you consider that the loss to the Raiders was extremely consequential wrt the potential AFC WC slot. They are one of the teams expected to battle for that slot and if we don't win the division......

Thanks for the generic fullback scouting report but we're not talking about the same play. He had a clear path to a 12yd touchdown on a perfectly placed ball. The Raiders blew man coverage on the run-action pass and it was going to be a pretty easy stride in for any nominal athlete, which Vickers qualifies as.

I prefer Casey to Leach since he is a substantially better playmaker, and the fact he beat out a prett-eh prett-eh good fb in Vickers.

That was such a classic/standard Texans loss. Kubiak is seriously like a -4 WAR nfl head coach, i honestly believe bb would win a minimum of 14 games with this roster

Of course we're talking about the same play. I've watched it multiple times today on my DVR and I attest that Quentin Groves, with his running start and 4.5 40 time would have caught Lawrence Vickers and his 4.8, shoulders-and-hips swiveled back around to the LOS.

Watch the ****ing replay. Groves has already taken 5 full strides before Vickers touched the ball and was on the 10 yard line while Vickers made contact with the ball on the 14.

It was not a "perfectly placed ball" and anyone who thinks so must have never tossed a football in their life. He tossed it about 30 feet with no pressure on him OR Vickers and still was unable to lead him such that he doesn't slow down at all. That's not a tough pass to throw "perfectly" and yet Schaub still couldn't pull it off.

Should he have still caught it? Absolutely. Would he have scored? I don't think so. Did it matter? Of course it mattered. Could his pass have been better? Definitely.

It was not an "easy stride in for a nominal athlete". Not when a much bigger and faster athlete is chasing you in full stride.

Don't be fooled by the CBS guys saying "There was no one NEAR HIM!"

Matt Schaub: 24/51 2 interceptions 7 batted balls at the LOS. Concrete shoes. Zero emotion. Going bald. Him and Kubiak and all the kool-aid drinkers deserve eachother.

Jaguars are going to go into Pittsburgh likely without Monroe and Derek Cox and could be without Daryl Smith, Alualu, zach miller, Kasim Osgood, and Clint Session.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL. They are going to get 60 put up on them this week and sunshine will be just slinging the ball around like a little kid. So exciting!! Glad I was pumped for this season at one point!

**** you Texans. And **** you refs.

So tired of the Schaubsmirk at the end of every game. This team is heartless. Go Titans. Now that that headcase prima donna VY isn't on their team I may jump on the ol' Oilers bandwagon. Fisher gone too. If they would just cut Cortland Bitchass Innegan...

That's funny and all but loading all your losses into 1 season is the pro strategy. I'd take 14-2, 12-4, 0-16 over 8-8 8-8 8-8 8-8 8-8.

What strikes me as crazy though is that no matter how much I hate Gary Kubiak as a person, I don't think I'd trade him for CCH Pounder or whoever the hell the Colts' coach is.

I've been drinking tonight. Few glasses of pinot noir with dinner and now I'm on som Sierra Nevada IPA.

Don't know if it was discussed on this forum but last week when Schaub threw an interception from the 5 yard line down by 5 against the Raiders to lose that game... Raiders had 10 defenders on the field. And the ghost of Al Davis.

LOL Texans.

I hope Tennessee destroys us. FREE TJ YATES
