Home for the weekend. I go to my mom's house to drop off my dog as she watches him while I'm down here. Went insane eating pizza and monkey bread. Lots of calories.

Gonna be another rough week. My wife's birthday today, my birtthday on tuesday, mother's day tomorrow.

So far doing OK at limiting the damage but yikes you could just go nuts.

Good move, left over fried seafood is just a bad idea in general

I just spent a week slacking, went back into Beast Mode yesterday. Just wanted to put that out there, in response to about seven straight "I'm slipping" posts.

226 yesterday, I *will* get to 219 before the end of May.

yeota,

The canned chicken breast you get, when you mix it up, is it like little cubes of chicken (like how you get in traditional chicken salad) or does it become sort of like how tuna salad texture typically is? I made some w/ that 12.5oz can of chicken, a tablespoon of mayo, a couple tablespoons of Sriracha, a couple tablespoons of relish, and some chopped up onion. It was pretty tasty (and I'll make some more), but it ended up being more like tuna salad as opposed to chicken salad. That will either make total sense or zero sense to people based on their history of tuna/chicken salad experiences.

It starts as chunks then becomes stringy almost as if you pulled or shredded it... Not sure if that is what you meant by like tuna salad but it def doesn't stay in big chunks.

I didn't have a great weekend being out of town then mothers day, weighed a lol 219 this morning after being 213 on Friday. Obv water weight but prob did put on a lb or 2.

Yeota,

Yeah, yours is exact same as mine. I was contrasting that w when you get chicken salad from a deli and the chicken is more like kinda diced pieces.

Another difficult week. My birthday on tuesday, my wife's on saturday (sidebar: we went to dahlia lounge for breakfast where they have amazing eggs benedict). Mother's day on sunday made it tough to play catch-up.

To make matters worse my real weight is about a pound over my expected weight. It could be water etc. but it could also be I missed some birthday/mother's day related snacking my logs.

Breaking from routine is one of the most difficult things for me re: logging accurately and staying under target.

Try again this week.

Goof,

I dunno, looks pretty good to me if the logging is fairly accurate. ~1600 cals over goal on a challenging week is pretty solid IMO and assuming you're on at least a pound a week goal, should still have you pointed in the right direction.

Never, but I've considered it.

Haven't eaten eggs in months.

I make a lot of them, and give them all to my dog.

I do not like hard boiled eggs.

Guys,

Hard boiled eggs are awesome and a really great snack or part of a meal.

Crash, how do you make the hard boiled eggs?

I put them in cold water, bring to a rolling boil, cover and remove from heat, time 12 minutes, then shock cool them in ice water.

They come out perfect. I have never liked hard boiled eggs. My dog loves them.

Smoked salmon is pretty unbeatable for taste and macros. Price is an issue, but oother than that its the nuts.

I like hard boiled eggs, but soft boiled are 10x better imo.
