I made in excel. Also happy news that today I realized my goal is 1780 not 1730

Sigh, had to head into work for 36 straight hours this morning and left my chicken breasts and turkey burgers in the fridge :-/

Normally that would be a perfect excuse to kill it on taco day, however, I kept the damage to a minimum imo:

Basically there's a mountain of shredded chicken breast underneath there (you can see all the beans and sour cream)

That was lunch, followed it up with a bowl of oatmeal (with just a thimble of syrup) for dinner

I've been under 1600 cals every day this week. Having crazy sugar cravings though.

I picked up a 30-lb package the other day, and having gone from 207->180, I was shaking my head that I was carrying that around with me all the time. My knees are probably composing a country song about me having done them wrong in the past and trying to make up for it now...

I drank too much Tuesday night, and resorted to Pizza Hut for a Stuffed Crust hangover remedy on Wednesday.

After several weeks of <1800/day, Wednesday came in at >4000 calories! And I was starving all day! **** Pizza Hut! True, it DID help the hangover, but man, what a price I paid for it!

(I might go <1500 today, and without feeling the least bit hungry.)

Think I had an epiphany today. Stayed at a friends house last night after drinking, had to go straight from there to a double header today.

So stopped at mcd's to grab two mcchickens... Hadn't had fast food in awhile and I can say it was gross. Was hot and fresh and crispy but eating it I was like how the hell did I used to eat this all the time? Had to fight to get through it just for the calories.

Was at 218.5 yesterday but sure I'm back up a little after a turkey burger, half order of fries and 7-11 éclair last night, haha.

You still needed calories after drinking?
My go-to quick meal, even though it tastes meh, is Subway six inch oven roasted chicken breast double meat no cheese. 46g protein and just over 400 Cals I believe.

If those last two digits aren't the same I'm going to be pretty upset.

Been in Australia for the past two weeks. Haven't been active other than lots of walking and some rock climbing. Been having lots of delicious food with my family and I know I've gained some weight. It's not that depressing mentally because I'm really looking forward to getting back to the gym and continue to exercise and eat well. I guess it's a fatties mentality that I kind of saw this vacation as a reward for the past year and it's a short break? Lol sounds dumb reading that over actually. I guess I'm just trying to say it was nice to put away the chicken and salad for two weeks and enjoy the food Australia had to offer like kangaroo, crocodile, emu, wagyu beef, etc.

How do others treat their eating habits on vacation?

Re: vacation - well there has to be some Yolo in there but you can't go crazy. I'd try to eat light lunches and have whatever for dinner.

Also I took a foul tip directly into my wrist on Saturday. Still hurts to squeeze my hand or open my hand all the way... Afraid it might be a hairline fracture but not sure. It's not super swollen or black like a break typically would be, just a decent sized lump (with laces still, haha). Don't think I will be doing much lifting this week though

After Vegas I weighed myself last Sunday night fully clothed in my work clothes and shoes on (was in a rush) and I was 267 on the dot. This was also after literally stuffing my face all weekend and having a 3k calorie meal for my bday at Outback. Would guess I was like 260 true weight.

Just weighed in at 251.4 after a week of keto at target cals of around 2500 a day. Sucked all that water weight out baby.

Goal is to be on the brink of 220's by the end of June.

Final goal weight is around 220. All depends what the mirror is looking like.

Lets get it.

FF,

A couple of recent meals of mine that are very simple ideas for you to add to your meal mix.

One bell pepper, saute for a few mins in a tablespoon of olive oil, add half a large onion, saute a couple more mins, add in a sliced chicken sausage. That's a full-size plate there, a big plate of food. Whole thing ~350 cals. So plenty of room to add a bun, a couple of tortillas, etc.

Chop up a sweet potato, saute for a few minutes in a tablespoon olive oil, add a dozen chopped up brussels sprouts, a chopped up onion, and another tablespoon of olive oil, saute for a few more mins. Whole thing is ~550 cals. Pictured is half of all that plus a poached egg for a total of ~350 cals.

Any idea of the macronutrient breakdown of those meals?

Duerig,

Sweet potato, brussels sprouts, onion hash w/ poached egg as pictured (half portion as pictured):
Carbs / Fat / Protein / Sodium / Sugar
35 / 20 / 11 / 369 / 14

Chicken sausage, onion, bell pepper:
Carbs / Fat / Protein / Sodium / Sugar
23 / 21 / 19 / 516 / 4

The olive oil seems like a poor way to "spend" calories.

daryn,

Yeah, you could easily half the oil on both of those if you wanted. Those weren't meals optimized for calories/diet/nutrition or anything, just a couple of regular things I eat that I thought might be interesting ideas for people here to mix things up with a bit. Seems like lots of people here don't cook all that much, so I picked a couple of super basic things that are very quick and easy.

That's what I did. Nothing but chicken, tuna, and salads with light dressing. Only drank water too.

how'd you end up in vegas?

I mean, gotta let loose a little but can't go too nuts, between drinking / drunken food nice dinners and hangover breakfasts you could easily break 5k/day in Vegas.

I most want to game out a framework strategy that avoids that while still doing plenty of drinking.

Goof,

Typical 24hrs in Vegas for me involves ~20 drinks, call that 3000 cals, a 1500 calorie ribeye, 1000 cals worth of apps/sides/dessert, and 1000 cals worth of nachos/burger/pizza/sandwich/etc sometime during the day or night for a grand total of 6000-7000 cals per day.

Good luck!
