Same thing goes for Chapter One, right? We can't be sure if Landa did this to every house until he succeeded, or if he knew the Dreyfuses were hiding with LaPadite and his daughters.

Saw this and thought it was fantastic. Every little detail seemed important by the end.

I wish these movie thread had poles - hard to see what people think w/o getting spoilers - I guess a long thread basiaclly means at least some people liked it.

I might have missed a post here or there but I don't think anyone disliked the movie. Seems like most people loved it, and some people thought it was pretty good to good.

These threads would be cool if they had a poll with A-F grades though, I agree.

This movie and The Hangover were the two I enjoyed the most this summer. Just a lot of fun, entertaining, and in the case of IB really engaging and intense.

Could someone let me know what Pitt kept snorting? I assumed it was coke but they never really showed it.

He took it from the bodies of the dead Nazi officers. The irony in this is that the "hillbillies" use dip and the more refined Nazis used snuff. This is another good parallel that Tarantino used in the movie to tell the story.

Did anyone else think this movie was spoiled by the previews? I thought a lot of the best parts lost some of their impact because I had alreadys een them on TV.

Landa would have made an awesome poker player.

I also wondered if he knew they were hidden underneath, the house or he wanted to get a read on LaPadite.

IMHO he had a feeling about Shoshana. Thinking back to the scene with the Streudel I get chills thinking how good of a scene that was.

Fortunately I did not see any of the previews for the movie until after I had seen it.

I loved this movie, I even considered staying in the theater and catching it again but I didn't. Taratino's best IMO. I thought Anton Chigurh was hands down the ultimate villain until now.

Glad to see Tarantino still has his haters. I think Quentin must have run over this reviewers dog.

Also I thought it was brilliant.

The best part was he kept referring to it being a remake of the movie with the same name.

About 8 people walked out in disgust at the showing I went to. What did they think they were signing up for when they went to see a Tarintino movie about killing Nazis.

There were quite a few old people at my showing. I was expecting them to be turned off by the loud, grotesquely violent nature of the film. Instead, they were talking about how much they enjoyed the movie afterwards. This is a pretty jewish area fwiw.
