Has there been any 8 game or stud games going?

Also, has anyone seen the traffic go over 2000 players online yet?

671 right now which isn't bad for 3 in the afternoon. I'll check tonight around 8 to see where it's at.

Does anyone know which location based software you need to have installed on a desktop? I was able to deposit no problem with pay pal but I can't play...lol

Anyone else seeing super slow response from support? I have a message out since yesterday and not even "we're are looking into this" just crickets so far. I was hoping this was run like pokerstars use to be run but it's starting to look like Mount Airy...lol

So, I have downloaded the app on my windows laptop, but have not had any success with geolocating - am able to play fine on my phone though. Does anyone else still have this problem with windows? Also, pokerstars support has been no help, so I feel like this is the only place I can try to figure this out.

I haven't been able to get support to respond to the same issue. Has anyone gotten a response from support? I also have a call into Mount Airy and they are suppose to get back to me.

Has anybody from NJ been able to download the PA client so that one could at least look at the lobby and see the traffic? I'm unable to access the PA version download, as I'm always directed to the NJ site when I attempt to go to Pokerstars PA (due to my computer geolocating me, presumably).

I found a work around. Log into the casino, spin a slot once...I did for 20 cents and I'm up 4 cents...lol

I came back and sat down at a table and was able to get live support chat.

I don't think visitors can play because I think you need a SSN. (Social Security Number)

What's stopping regs from out of state setting up a VPN and playing on PA only sites? Besides it violating the TOS and breaking PA law, which yes means likely having tour account balance liable to be seized and also possible repercussions for breaking PA law, but that being said, why would Russian hackers for example care too much about that?

Anyone have any insight, and has there been any attempts on the Nevada/NJ websites that are known?

It doesn't just use your IP address to identify your location. That's why you have to have wifi active. It is looking for other wifi networks and triangulates your location based on that. If you're in another state with a VPN, you still can't fake your location based on the wifi triangulation.

+100. Incompetent scumbags - U hit right on the money with this one (or maybe just scumbags).

NJ and now PA and where is NY?? Nowhere. But yeah 2025 sounds about right. I'd set the line at 50/50. Disgusting.

Lots of cash game traffic, great to see. I'm surprised given the lack of advertising and build up. America still wants to play online poker.

I'm trying to figure out how to use my original Stars screenname, which is now active and associated with .COM platform (free money site), on the PA client. I'm seeing unclear and conflicting instructions, but from what I can tell it can't be done. Can anyone confirm?

I can't create a PA account with the same nick from scratch because it is already in use. I'm guessing they have a single database of usernames with each being associated with one specific platform (.EU, .Com, NJ, PA, etc).

So anyone who plays on a desktop computer is SOL? Or is there some other mechanism in place for people who aren't in fact connecting over wifi?

(Full disclosure: not in PA and not trying to pretend I am - but I do the vast majority of my play over a fixed dsl line and would be really ticked if my state adopted a must-use-wifi type of solution in the future.)

Not sure. I just made a new one because i couldnt figure it out. I believe once u download the client through the website there is an option somewhere to permanently change your original account to a PA account but again its making a new one that way too. Im not sure.

I think you can make a “fox bet” account and that acts as a poker account as well?
