Anyone ever get the bug where you don't accept a waitlist table and then you can't join any other waitlists until you close and reopen the client?

We'd rather keep our smaller player pools than play on ROW Stars. Thanks.

Just hope they sign a PA-NJ pool-sharing compact soon.

The population is pretty healthy as long as long you only want to play hold em. Regularly peaking couple hundred past 1500, and the weekend it flirted with 2k.

Very Close to 1800 tonight. I was playing 8 game for a little bit and then my client froze but it's nice to see something other than hold'em running.

yes, of the no limit variety. I wish we could get some Limit Hold'em games going, but so far those tables are mostly one player at a time camping out waiting and declining to play heads up.

I made a 3rd deposit with Credit Card and I should of just used E-check. After the deposit went through my account has been frozen, and it says "Your account has been frozen pending a routine security inspection" It says I should be able to have access again within minutes. Not sure as its midnight here on Monday. They probably are going to ask for a copy of the Credit card and Id verification like back in the old days. E-check is much smoother guys...

  • Signing up was fine. Unlike others it figured out who I was without difficulty. I was a little miffed that any decent permutation of my PS nick that I have used since pre-Black Friday days was taken. But otherwise that all went smoothly.
  • My PayPal deposit was a bit wonky - it acted like it had to think about it and never went to the PayPal screen like it should have. When I tried another method it said I needed to wait ten minutes?

I hit up support via chat and they suggested another method. I used a Visa issued by my credit union and it went right through.
  • Immediately fired up a $1 SNG. And won it. Fear me!
  • Played a little $30PLO and won a tiny amount. Played a little more $30NLHE and ran my $50 deposit up to around $80.
  • Played a $10 tournament this morning. Finished 3rd out of 261 entrants on a single bullet, winning $246.99. I missed playing tourneys in my underwear!
I was gonna cash out a little bit but apparently that will forfeit my bonus. It seems to be exceedingly difficult to reach this play-through requirement. I have played enough to get 9, going on 10 chests, yet it says I have only collected 137 out of 700. If it takes this long for a microstakes player to reach these bonuses they may as well not have them.

Also, these chests seem useless as well. I got a couple 50 cent awards and 190 in StarsCoins but it looks like I will need a ton of those to get anything decent (My memory is hazy but I believe I got a couple of iPods pre-Black Friday. I just got upgraded to bigger chests but even if they double, I am not sure how useful the rewards will be.

Overall it's nice to be able to play poker at home but PS promotions seem pretty flimsy for a microstakes grinder and until they are able to combine player pools where I can turn a $5 tournament into a thousand or more, I don't see it cutting into my live casino time.
The chest get better as you upgrade them but it's still a luck of the draw. I just hit the I believe gold chest level and the first one I opened was $30 I believe the odds of that are 200 in 1000 but the minimum goes up each level. Deposit bonus requirements arent that bad I cleared $100 in 2 days about 8,000 hands of only 30 and 50NL.

My wife logged into her account on our tablet. I only use my laptop to play. This is only reason why I think it's frozen. I was told to email them so I guess I'll have to wait 3 days for a response :/

I'm all good my account was unlocked only about an hour after the credit card went through. How do withdraws work since I used credit card? Wasn't sure about that. O well Good luck to you.

If I make a small deposit just to get things up and running (ex. $25) but don't use a bonus code, will I be able to take full advantage of the $600 bonus on a later deposit? Or does the bonus cod eon work if you apply it to your initial deposit?

I'm asking because I dont live in PA, but I'd like to make sure everything is up and running for when I travel there in a couple weeks. Then in a couple weeks I'd deposit with the $600 bonus.

Looking forward to playing on some Sunday's. Not bad numbers for the first Sunday. I wonder how much this will grow once there's some advertising.

I can’t answer your question as I used the bonus for my first deposit, but you don’t need to deposit to get things up and running. I’m in NY about 10 minutes from border and downloaded and installed software. Make your name and it instantly verified me with my ssn. Some people have been having trouble getting verified but I think mostly it is instant except for certain circumstances (one guy had his credit history froze so needed to verify another way I believe).

I did deposit in NY, was able to watch tables but not play. I deposited with PayPal and that was also instant. Drove across border and got right in and played.

You can deposit 25 and use the code, and then deposit another 575 with the same code (up to three deposits totaling 600 is how I understand it). But if you’re instantly verified I’m pretty certain you won’t have an issue where you need to get anything up and running prior to being in PA.

You can make up to three deposits using the bonus code, so it wouldn't really matter if you use it on the first $25 deposit or not. If you make a withdrawal before depositing the entire $600 you bonus stops there. You still qualify for whatever bonus you have in your account, you just can' accumulate more.

EX:

Deposit $200 with the code
Deposit $200 more with the code
Deposit $200 more with the code you get the full $600 bonus

Deposit $200 with the code
Withdraw $25
Deposit $400 with the code you will only have $200 in bonus to clear because the withdraw stopped the bonus train.

I also live in NY and was thinking of taking a drive and giving it a shot. How did you play, can you play on your phone using data? If not I'll have to find public WiFi.

You don't need to be on WiFi as long as you have Location Services turned on, then it should be able to locate you via GPS. If it has trouble, then having your cellular service and/or WiFi enabled can help.

Wrong i think. I tried playing on my pc with location services on and it doesnt work. It only works when i bought a wifi usb adapter. Im 99% sure you need wifi because that is how the geolocation works. I believe this has been answered in this thread a couple pages back.

Have you or anyone else tried playing with just cellular data?

I don't think you can use both sign up offers since they both say "First Deposit Bonus", I saw some guy on twitter say you can't stack them also but if you can that would be good information to know!

I played using a WiFi hotspot off of my phone parked in Walmart. I didn’t try to play on my cell phone but I think I read some where you can. I was gonna go to a Starbucks but apparently those are scarce in western pa.

I’ve played on my phone. Worked fine. It did hiccup a couple times as I was walking around. Restarted, it relocated me, worked fine. Haven’t tried using my cell data as a hotspot for my laptop. If you’re looking to shove/fold turbos on your phone it works great. If you’re into it for an amount of $ that means something I’d sit down and find wifi but I’d think that’s obvious.

No, not wrong. I was answering a question specifically about playing on a phone. I know that you need wifi enabled on a PC for geolocation as I've already mentioned more than once in this thread.
