What is the maximum number of tables you can play at once? Is it 4 like the other thread says? Or different because there is no zoom?

Me too. I added the directory of hand histories but it doesn’t work at all. And when I multi-tabling SNG I feel that the animations are not smoothly performed. Is it just my old laptop or is the client programming badly so that I can only run two table smoothly?

I tried 6. The graphics are really bad if I run multiple tables.

PA SNG's Rake is higher:

NJ Hyper HU SNG: 2.9%
PA Hyper HU SNG: 3.1%

PSglobal Turbo 6MAX SNG: 7.75%
PA Turbo 6MAX SNG: 8.1%

You can always check the rake under the "Structure" Tab

I was trying to play on my desktop and couldnt because you need to have wifi for the geo location services. My pc is hard wired. I am going to buy a wifi usb card tomorrow. I was still able to play on another device but that was disappointing.

Do you have to have wifi to play? On mobile can you use cellular or i guess not? Also i was reading that you are unable to play while at any pa casinos? Just curious about that too.

Did you try to disable PS graphic engine and the Aurora option to see if it will run better?

My laptop is wired in. I do remember having trouble over the summer having to disconnect it so I could play the slots when they 1st launched. I forget which site it was but it said it needed to be on WiFi to verify my location.

You can use your wired connection but your PC/laptop still needs to have wifi enabled to be able to discover nearby wifi points so the software can verify location.

Can anyone do me a favor and hit the Withdrawal option on the pa stars client? When I hit it it says I have no available funds to withdrawal but that is not true as I have around 100 bucks on the site currently. I am assuming withdrawals are down since the poker tables are down during this launch test phase. It seems like deposits are available.

Just curious.

I have a paypal business account and could not use that to deposit as the site needs a "personal" paypal account. I hope I have no issues cashing out to it... because the site has very limited cashout options. I could always contact paypal I assume. Ehh

1. Yes, you have to have wi-fi to play. There's a recent Twitter convo about this inconvenience that was brought up by 2+2 member Josem, in response to a two-part interview Steve Ruddock did last week with representatives from GeoComply and Aristotle.

2. You won't be able to play on a regulated Pennsylvania site while physically located within casino property, even if it's that casino's own sub-licensed poker/casino/sports betting site. Here's a write-up from Katie Kohler of Philadelphia, who shows screenshots of what occurred when she attempted to play on a licensed site from within a PA casino.

https://www.playpennsylvania.com/onl...ar-pa-casinos/

Here's the direct link to actual regulation (clause 'c') that Katie links to in her article.

https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs...n=63&subsctn=0

So yeah, as unbelievable/illogical as this sounds... you won't be able to play on PokerStars Pennsylvania while physically located in Mount Airy casino. Or any other casino in the Keystone State for that matter.

What's up with this "geocomply" software?

They don't allow hard wired internet connections AND their rep (which looks when you click live rep it's a Pokerstars Mount Airy link) lists your "prohibited software" and tells you what programs on your computer to uninstall...they gave me the name of software on my PC and said it was a VPN...it's not.

I'm all for game security but not for some third party company scanning my PC.

On the plus side it does not appear HUDs like HM2 are flagged.

Hi JL,

If you're interested in learning more about GeoComply and geolocation for regulated online poker games in the US, there are some great resources linked in the last few pages of this thread.

Hopefully you'll be able to get the software issue resolved this afternoon when PokerStars PA games go live again.

All in all, PokerStars PA seems to have had a successful Day 1 soft launch? I was pleasantly surprised to see the traffic #s out-do New Jersey on the very first day. Obviously Pennsylvania's population of ~13 million is larger than New Jersey's ~9 million, but not by that much.

It's an impressive Day 1 imo. It will be interesting to see whether there's a significant spike in new players this weekend, during and following Jason Somerville's Twtich cast commentary of the Thursday Night Football NFL game.

You can be on a hard wired connection, but you also need to have wifi enabled at the same time.

Heh, now as a Delaware resident living right next to the PA border, I need to hit up a local Starbucks or Harrah's Chester 10 minutes away. In fact, I live so close to the state line that the DE geolocation can no longer locate me in DE from home to play on WSOP/888. Stars, here I come, bye bye ACR.
We must live really close to each other because I have the same issue. I live on Naamans Road.

Yes I did. I disabled all the stuff under "animation" Tab. It works a little bit better, but still not smooth as other PS platforms. It is okay right now for me since i am not able to play so many tables without HUD.

I sent a ticket to PT4 Support team, and got a response that they are working on it, perhaps in 2 days.

Can you please ZIP the PokerStars installer and upload it somewhere for us to download?

Also, if you have some hand histories and could send them to us that would be appreciated and helpful as well.

Best regards,

Hi Derek,
The Hand histories are attached. The installer are too big to send by email, you can find the down-loader in the following link:
