I give up. Enough. No more. I quit. I cant do this to myself anymore. I needed closure on this entire situation, and this will do it for me.
I got a life and i'm off to carry on with it. Screw this

After Andy Bloch's win:
"It’s certainly a bittersweet win. I don’t think it does anything to ease the pain of what a lot of people have gone through this past year. People have gone through absolute hell. I hope things end up getting resolved in the right way. We’ll see, hopefully there will be some kind of announcement during the Series, but I don’t know anything else."

I like Andy Bloch but really?! Of course his win does nothing to ease the pain of others caught in this mess. What a strange thing to say after you take down a bracelet event.

He misspoke. He meant he didn't think it eased his pain as presumably losing a reliable cash cow in Full Tilt had to hurt quite a bit. I'm sure he's mistaken though and winning that bracelet will do some good to his levels of pain

Will there be any news in the near future?

It's like finding the author of a Dec. 2012 Mayan Doomsday End of the World book posting in a thread titled "2013 New Years Resolutions."
Some people are psychopaths. They enjoy inflicting pain on people and watching the reaction.

LOL.... people need to read this instead of just popping up out of no where and asking what's going on with the deal? Is it over yet? You will know.

When you can download and withdraw again, then it will be "working again".

Maybe he'd like to return part of the millions of dollars he received as a shareholder in FT.

He already spent the money on silly hats.

People aren't allowed to have opinions in a gossip forum I suppose.

I used to really like Andy Bloch and thought he was a good ambassador for poker, but now I think he's a ****. He's winning bracelets with buy-ins paid with our money. He can go **** himself.

And if you were in his position, you would do ... ?
06-03-2012 , 05:57 PM
He could at least pledge some of the winnings to pay back FTP victims if the deal doesn't go through at the end. Much better than those empty " I feel sorry for you guys, but good luck" statement, especially considering that he has some of the victims' money in his bank account.

(1) I wouldn't hide away from the all the players by being a weasel and staying quiet. Tom Dwan at least came out and talked to the players as well as making pledges to pay back the money he made.

(2) I wouldn't play in high buy in tournaments while players remain unpaid.
Surely you would think these guys would have some ethical fibre to not rub it in the noses of those who were basically scammed and stolen from.

Should we expect any more from a guy who was on the ethics committee of the Epic Poker League?

If all the shareholders like lederer ferguson ivey bloch bitar and some other pro's who said they would give out money like dwan and galfond really felt bad about the situation then they would say "Hey we will each give a few million from our pockets and give it to the company that eventually buys FTP for the repayment of the players". I believe an amount of 40-50 million would be pretty easy for them to give away, and would be significant help for any new investor

Just because money has more meaning to you (and Andy Bloch) than integrity doesn't mean that's true for everyone and that anyone who says otherwise is lying or an idiot.

Sigh...not even one righteous man among the old team FTP...All they are concerned about is saving their own asses and money.
