Actually that webpage is the only forum where FullTilt ever published a statement, other "news" are only rumors.

It's probably inappropriate for me to keep commenting on other media's articles, and I only do so when asked. However, when any article labels things as rumors, then technically they aren't being untruthful. Someone could print an article saying they heard a rumor that the moon is made of green cheese. Maybe they really heard that rumor, so that part is possibly true. This is not the same as reading that the moon is made of green cheese and believing it.
Please post your info, what you know, since you shoot down every-other source. Let us know what your source says? stop wasting time!!!!!

Demanding that DF do or say something here on this thread that she doesn't want to do or actully can not do, is really wasting your time! Information will be released when there is some. Your impatience is understandable but it won't speed up this crappy mess one bit. We are mostly powerless spectators and that really sucks!

Not FTP related, but if you wonder how a deal to buy a poker network could have been "done" in late April but never materialize, Shuffle Master's deal to buy Ongame was also "done" months ago, but dissolved because the whole "i-poker will be legal in the US by the end of 2012" turned out to be a pipe dream.

Quote:
Isaacs blamed declining business conditions in Europe since February, as well as "uncertainty surrounding the timing of legalization and the rollout of online poker" in the U.S. at both the state and federal levels.
Shuffle Master drops planned purchase of European online gaming company

Getting the charges dismissed will still be the determining factor, but any rush to close the deal and begin cashing out players has obviously passed.

Did anybody else just receive a Pokerstars survey asking for your opinions on a bunch of Full Tilt pros?

Well, if they re doing a survey on FTP pros now, it seems unlikely anything gets announced this or next week.
06-27-2012 , 11:43 AM
**** won't let me take it again just goes straight to the Zoomerang Survey homepage.

Basically had 6 options from Don't know them, Very Negative to Very Positive for some PS pros then on the next page the same thing for most of the well known Tilt pros.
06-27-2012 , 11:53 AM
Damn, that actually seems like very promising news

I don't think they would do a survey on the FTP pros to find out if a deal is worth it. The FTP pros most likely wont make a huge difference when the DOJ is open to negotiating entering the US market and lowering the fine they need to pay.

I would think they would do a survey to cut dead weight if the deal goes through. Fits with PS basicly removing a lot of pros lately.

DIdn't get the survey, those that did get it, were the following in it?
Phil Ivey
Chris Ferguson
Howard Lederer
Tom Dwan
06-27-2012 , 12:04 PM
I think the survey is good news. They are probably using the survey results to decide which pro to keep and which pro to let go after they take over FTP.
06-27-2012 , 12:04 PM
Didnt receive it yet, could someone track from which server were the emails mailed?
I'd probably vote down everyone except Durrr...
06-27-2012 , 12:04 PM
Anyone who has been around longer receive one.... lol
06-27-2012 , 12:05 PM
Ferguson and Lederer were not on it 99.9% sure.

Some i can def remember are - Matusow, Jen Harman, P Antonius, Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Phil Helmuth and some non FT pros on the same list were Sam Farha, Joe Hachem
06-27-2012 , 12:06 PM
Seems they didn't send it to US players.

PS obviously has a lot of information on our playing behavior and targets their surveys towards who's opinion they're interested in.
06-27-2012 , 12:07 PM
great news. This means PS is still interested, and most likely, still in talks with the DOJ which explains the lack of announcements the past month.
06-27-2012 , 12:09 PM
FWIW I'm from the UK and Supernova, I'm guessing receiving it has something to do with one of those
06-27-2012 , 12:09 PM
All signs point to yes.

Does anyone else remember Hellmuth tweeting last year something along the lines of "just had a great meeting with Full Tilt execs." I recall it being not too long before Black Friday and everything went down.

Talk about dodging bullets...

This survey does not seem very significant as to relaunch/repayment, etc. dates, etc., nor do I think it raises the perceived likelihood of the deal going through. They could announce a relaunch/repayment and announce signing of pros later...

That being said, Ivey, Dwan, Hellmuth, and Antonius seem like obvious signings. Everyone else is a waste of money.
