If by "Pokerstars sabotaged the Tapie deal" you mean "The DoJ insisted players be repaid and Tapie refused" then yeah, spot on.

The company said, “We are happy to confirm that PokerStars was today granted a license to operate in Spain and we plan to launch www.PokerStars.es on June 5th. For now, Spanish players can continue to compete on www.PokerStars.com as normal and don’t need to take any action”.

Mods- delete if redundant

I would gladly take small increments over a few years and work some of my 5 figures off in a bonus than get **** all.

i dont like the agcc. i think all regulatory bodies are crooks. its time governments stepped up and regulated... fine the crooks to recoup losses.

its like letting a mexican cartel monitor sales of marijuana

the doj would have been sued bigtime by overseas had tapies plan gone through. no americans would have been paid for years and no row either. row just wouldnt have tolerated usa getting paid with full tilt money while they had towork their accounts to be paid
06-02-2012 , 03:08 AM
there are probably only around a 1000 people with enough money on full tilt to matter cashwise... however those people have enough real world money to hire lawyers if this isnt done properly

Anyone been to fulltiltpoker.eu lately? When you click on download now it just refreshes the page. It used to say the system was down or something like that. fulltiltpoker.com when you go to download now it takes you to a page I have never seen before, then when you click download for pc version, it freshes the page. But fulltiltpoker.net gives you the error message still. But, I'm pry just looking too much into it. Because web sites do these things on their own.

.eu has also been down for a while, but dont think you should put to much into this. tapie was also working on something from time to time. but better they make us draw our attention to this, then listening to all the other stuff in here..

HI

I've got a question/s for:

Noah
DF
Zee Justin

You guys have confirmed that negotiations between Starts and DoJ to acquire the forfeited assets of FT are happening in a meaningful way.

I understand and respect that you don't want to reveal any of your sources.

Anyway:

1. Did you hear this first hand ie from someone involved in the negotiations?

2. Did you hear it second hand from someone who you trust who was able to reveal their source?

3. Did you hear from someone who you trust but was not able to reveal their source?

4. Did you hear it from another source is someone who has been reliable in the past or may know people who are close to the negotiations.

5. Or someone else?

TIA

You write some very good posts but I have to disagree with you. It shows all the possibilities of humanity.

It is so good that I have been reading it for the last hour and it is 4:30 AM.

I have stated twice that I believe when it is all over, assuming that it will be, that this thread should be published verbatim.

This experience is similiar to mine too, they know FTP was shutdown, but very few details. But Joey, the most interesting part is the fact they don't really care about it at all. Even the three guys in my home game who are stuck small amounts, don't seem to follow the situation or seldom ask me if anything new is happening! I think for many, if not most players, it is not an issue.
