Obviously I understand the money would be insignificant to Ferguson or Phil, Cuz of their books and highstake limit games etc., but it would be nice to see them crush.
lol'd at this idiot

edit: wait did i just get leveled???

(removed deleted image)

What are you trying to say? He seems to do way more (compared to most HS regs) really questionable stuff like calling 4bets ultra light or flatting weak hands (eg. J2o) OOP. A lot of those plays are such that can't really be justified in any way. Obviously he is a great player and probably understand poker fundamentals way better than I do, but it doesn't mean he couldn't do mistakes that a smallstakes player could notice to clearly be mistakes.

I'd love to hear how J2o flat vs jungle or this could really ever be winning plays.

edit:
somebody posted "wtf am I reading?" pic when I suggested that maybe jungle thinks he plays more fundamentally sound poker and that's why he doesn't mind durrrr playing shorter.

Been traveling both days it's gone by, can't rail on an iPad so can't say. None of the big hands durrrr lost look like he played poorly (none that I can remember anyway), so I'd guess he's running poorly

you can't be serious.

This specific case is so extremely fundamentally unsound that Dwan would have had to have gone through a full frontal lobotomy in the last couple of hours to not know that.

Even if he is getting outplayed by Jungleman, we're still talking about one of the top players in the world.

More likely, he thinks that since Jungle's reading abilities are so good, the deception value in flopping 2 pair with a deuce, or trip deuces, a straight with a deuce, etc....all hands Jungleman will never put him on, give him sufficient implied odds to make that call, given that he has other options after the flop to rep different hands as well and doesn't have to rely solely on hitting a miracle two pair kind of hand, etc...

Whether it actually is +EV to make that call is clearly debatable, but:

-No one here can answer that question.

-Durrrr is clearly not calling J2 because he's tilting.

-Props to Durrrr for going with what he believes is the right strategy with so much on the line.
This guy has an incredible heart.

I don't get it, why can't a 9 high straight be made with T5?

well why not just play 100% of hands in the BB then? he would be completely unreadable and could show up w/ any 2pr or trips combo in any spot.

there is no good argument that could be made for defending J2o in a big bet game against a very good aggro opponent who is not letting u get to SD cheaply and can VB well.

I mean cmon guys, preflop fundamentals have never been durrrr's strong suit. I dont know why you guys act so suprised. Obviously flatting J2o to a 3x raise from the BB is a losing play by itself.

In the past at least, durrrr has been able to make up for it with superior post-flop play, espically deep. That just doesnt seem to be happening in this match.
