Yes. You just have to be in NV, NJ or Delaware when you are playing.

Better not get arrested when you come or you could be waiting to see the judge for awhile.
That is only jury trial tho I guess.

If you haven't heard, officials in Ohio have made the statement that they believe there are 100,000 people in their state who are walking, talking carriers of COVID-19. These are not confirmed or presumptive cases, but this is what they believe the current state of affairs is based on statistical extrapolation.

There are only ~130,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally. The implications of this statement are obviously massive. Congratulations guys, we can officially handle the big boy truth.

Have a good one.

If they start testing massively in the US like Trump is saying soon, the numbers will be shocking.

Looks like that Caesars employee several days ago had the right idea about wearing gloves but got sent home. Now all these casino employees are testing positive. When they figure out all the contacts it will probably produce 100's of cases.

Like seriously that's the logic? Everyone will get it eventually so what's the point? just wow.

Perhaps you misunderstood my post. USA#9 has brutally fouled up testing, which is an important point. But we are about to brutally foul up other more important points as well. For example, taking the time to run a year-long clinical test on a vaccine if that costs us 2 per cent of our population strikes me as a massive mistake that will make our testing problems look trivial in comparison.

it's just a delaying tactic, to make it seem like they are doing something proactive. by the time this supposed system is online it will be clear how rife it is in all Western countries and it'll be too late. the time for any major country to do this was a month ago.

good luck everyone. any old guys who are out there grinding some 2/4 limit right now are actually playing Russian Roulette.

When is it reasonably time to personally suspend play on the strip?

Right now. We put our family on total lockdown today. No leaving the house unless strictly necessary.

I'm pretty sure I read this is another thread on another forum, but if it's from this thread apologies. There was at least one major hospital, I think in the UK, where they were telling staff not to wear masks because "it looks a certain way."

In other words we don't want to freak people out so don't take precautions. Just absurd levels of mental ******ation. Everyone's gonna get it first thing in the morning if they don't know already. This is an epic crisis, and we should have locked everything right the **** down quite a while ago.

The most obvious question that I still have is how long did government have these projections and why only now? You know they've been sitting on this **** for a while now.

Ok. I respect your opinion.

This wouldn't suck so much ass if there were going to be sports on tv.

I ran a couple quick errands today. Took my bottle of Germ X with me to wash hands when I got back to car. Works great.

I was more agreeing with your response to the poster that was saying testing is unnecessary.

Saw some guy on FB advertising that he had hoarded 20k bottles of germ X and is trying to sell them for $78 a bottle. I hope he doesn't sell a single one and is stuck w/ all that crap. I can wash my hands thank you.
03-14-2020 , 12:14 AM
Well you can't wash your hands when you did what I did today, hit the atm inside Citi bank to pay a bill and they had no hand sanitizer there and the ATM looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. No way I am getting in my car and touching my phone, steering wheel, radio, etc. without hitting the germ x.
03-14-2020 , 12:14 AM
I hope far worse things happen to him, personally

The data analysts in Ohio clearly aren't very good at data analysis. By the time doctors in Wuhan had linked 1000 cases, they had 300 deaths. Ohio has reported 13 cases and zero deaths. Where are all the dead people? If there really were 100,000 cases in Ohio already, the hospitals would be collapsing under the weight of people coughing and struggling to breathe in their corridors.
If you want good epidemiology/virology data, follow Trevor Bedford on twitter. Or visit nextstrain.org where his team are studying genomes, linking various outbreaks genomically, and making what are proving to be very accurate predictions of the growth rates.

Last I heard, he estimated the US as a whole currently has 10,000-40,000 unconfirmed cases, and that number is doubling about every six days. Give it time and an incompetent president, however, and you're soon gonna have half a million sick people.

I wash my hands when I get home and sanitize my phone and other things I touch often with alcohol wipes. I mean if you have it great use it, but seriously F that guy was my point.

I went to the bank, they gave me some old bills. The teller said, "You're not afraid of germs, are you?"

"No, a germ couldn't live on my salary."

Arty, I must be awake for too long because this seems false. The 100k mainly have a 4-14 day incubation period before facing escalating symptoms.

Good luck with surviving the year and the ~80/20 holding for you, and as a precaution let the cemetery know in advance that you would like the inscription on your tombstone to be:
