then who forced everyone? they are pushing this responsibility back and forth and that doesn't add up. we know Fauci was for a very short time a very powerful some say the most powerful human on the planet. he could have said something and it was instantly basically a law. (not yet an official law but as good as in reality. and exactly on this fact he and they are now gas lighting us) we need to think about if this, if this was a wise move to have all the power on one man.

Well Trudeau, Fauci, and I all supported limited vaccine mandates. As you will note, many people today are not vaccinated and so it just is objectively false to suggest any of those "forced everyone".

It's just a silly semantic game over what you call "forcing". As there are all sorts of crazed anti-vaxxers who never got vaccinated to this day because they put their conspiracy theories over helping their fellow citizens, so I wouldn't say they were forced. Certainly there was substantial pressure, largely from the provinces not Trudeau, in the form of restrictions. But I don't really care what word you use.

Most Canadians did the right thing, thankfully.

I am Canadian and had moved to the USA. My mom was on her deathbed. In order to get back to see her I had to be double vaccinated. If that doesn't qualify as forced fu! Meanwhile my unvaccinated wife was working in a hospital in Florida.

Yes but a state like California had as strict or stricter rules than us and had high numbers. The numbers were falsified across the USA and Canada .

The reality is that as a citizen if you wanted to work, travel, dine out you had no choice but to get the vaccine. Justin should stand behind the fact it was forced upon CDN's Doesn't mean he was wrong or that the Conservatives would not have done the same thing

It has nothing to do with right wing or left wing . Here in Canada many provinces admitted that to many deaths were attributed to Covid that should not have been.

Let me repeat I do not have a issue with any of the Covid measures taken at the time. Though as Science evolves governments did not. I have no issue with Justin limiting travel or federal work to those that were vaccinated. I do have an issue that he says he forced no one.

California is one of the lower ones at 256. Florida is at 404.

I did not mention Florida - that other poster did with his comical Desantos the scientist nonsense. I pointed out that Florida did pretty bad, especially since it had a lot more time to get ready. As well, red states fared quite a bit worse than blue states, and its not due to old people only living in red states.
