It's been sad seeing you sink into the right wing talking point soup so far that you think guffawing at that point is actually worth sharing.

I call his descent more educational than sad, as it gives a specific example of how the whole alt right content creation industry plays out with a specific passive consumer. Yeah, sucks for him to go into that hole (even if he does not mind it), but there is value in watching that transition as well. I appreciated this learning process as typically my experience with riggies is when they were already full converts to that lifestyle, rather than watching them become immersed in it.

Yes, lozen, we know you are swallowing hook line and sinker the propaganda pieces of albertan conservative MPs. But, uh, you realize you don't need to post the propaganda here to prove that point, we already know it. No doubt you are one of those 1700 faithful youtube subscribers she has. Although maybe not, unlike the 100 views she got on her video two weeks ago, this one seems to have made it super mega viral in right wing con circles and gained 20k views. Great job shannon!

edit: ok now I'm invested in shannon, it is really quite remarkable to fidelity with which she manages to perfectly copy all the poilievre talking points. Like the same media room that decided he needed to ditch the glasses and start wearing tshirts is scripting the **** out these question period talking points and it is just perfection to watch.

lol your whataboutisms know no bound do they. I wonder what it is like to live in your brain. Like do you even process you just got caught acting like a complete partisan hack promoting obvious conservative propaganda before you switch gears to some new anti-trudeau topic, or does your brain just jump over even recognizing what happened?

Just stating the facts . Some of us can discuss 2 or three topics. Sadly I see a PM destroying a country so quickly its sad

You aren't discussing anything. You did one whataboutism to escape a previous conversation, then when it was pointed out how laughable it is that you are just spamming partisan propaganda videos produced by the CPC you didn't even acknowledge a single thing and just went to a new whataboutism. That isn't a discussion. It's a list of partisan talking points provided to you by others and regurgitated by you here.

There is definitely a rise .
But still today the rate is below the level of 2010 under harper years .
Claiming Canada is a dangerous place to live today ? Really ?
Never heard that under harper years ….

Fwiw i believe the economy state of a country (poverty level etc) is a big factor for those stats .
So about normal in harder times (economy, covid , world problems ) crime rises .

The program that I'm citing disagrees. It means to have that 'wisdom' classified and taught as 'indigenous knowledge'.

Again you haven't really clarified if you think this is true of the intent of the curriculum, versus whether you think its ok or not.

I think I could convince you easier that teaching there is such thing as specialized knowledge is bad faster than I can get you to believe they are intending to do this in the school curriculum we are citing.

Of course not, but there is no sense in mandating into the public education system for that purpose, especially over any other culture.

My claim in regard to the source I cited, is that they are intending to pervade the entire curriculum with indigenous content. So for example math class will use examples for word problems that reference indigenous culture. And there is for example the high school indigenous English class if I understand correctly infuses indigenous culture. Does it make sense to be a multi cultural country of equality when one group gets such special treatment?

I don't think this scales...I think it opens a door that immigration fuels.
I think at this point we're just going around in circles, so I'll try to leave it on a couple points.

It sounds like you have a concern around Indigenous teachings taking over, "pervad[ing] the entire curriculum", maybe some kind of degradation of science being taught. From what I know and understand of how it works now and will be in the coming years, this is unfounded.

As for "opens a door that immigration fuels" - no. Just, no. Since I've already explained this a couple of times, I'm not assuming a third time will make any difference, but you're looking at Indigenous people as some foreign/immigrant culture that we're putting ahead of other foreign/immigrant cultures. They're not immigrants, so this concerns is just silly.

You do realize this graph shows violent crime on a constant downward trend under Harper and steadily climbs under Justin Trudeau unless I am reading it wrong???

It was much higher from 2006 to 2010 (4 harper years) and then went down ( probably due to better economic conditions ).

From 2000 to today , 23 years long
( I didn’t go prior to 2000 , u are welcome to do so ) ,
Violent crime rate was higher then this year .

So here is the question,
if u really blame jt for a violent country today , have the honesty to say Canada was a violent country most of the time beside 5-6 years during harper 10 years reign .
Which obviously to me is nonsense .
Canada never was considered a violent country while having higher crime rates compare to even today .

Fwiw I think the difference with Maga and uke is that for now on the Canadian opposition , no better alternative exist while in Maga supporters they have plenty of better alternative then trump in the opposition and even in their own party too .
