Fwiw i believe the economy state of a country (poverty level etc) is a big factor for those stats .
So about normal in harder times (economy, covid , world problems ) crime rises .

Violent crime rate was higher then this year .

So here is the question,
if u really blame jt for a violent country today , have the honesty to say Canada was a violent country most of the time beside 5-6 years during harper 10 years reign .
Which obviously to me is nonsense .
Canada never was considered a violent country while having higher crime rates compare to even today .

Fwiw I think the difference with Maga and uke is that for now on the Canadian opposition , no better alternative exist while in Maga supporters they have plenty of better alternative then trump in the opposition and even in their own party too .
