A co-worker of mine lives in Kelowna and every month crews have to come through the wooded area in his neighborhood and sweep/clean out the tent city and drug paraphernalia.

If you dont think that occurs in Edmonton or Calgary or any major city other than they do little to remove the tent folks

The issue I have is there still selling drugs and the addicts need to commit crimes to get their druga

FOX news gives you the stuff you want to consume. You want to believe in it, but that hardly makes it more "honest" just because they are telling you things you want to believe. They definitely manipulate videos and photos and context more than the other sites, and no I am not saying that the other sites do 0%. FOX just does it a lot more and barely hides it because they realize they do not have to worry about their consumers caring how accurate the stuff they feed them is. You have linked tons of stuff that was pretty comical in how badly it was manipulated but you linked those as honest stories (since you wanted to believe in them). When I pointed out the specific issues with them you always go to a whatabout - everyone does it defense (without providing equivalent evidence), which whatever given the general value of your insights. Consume the stuff you want to believe in, nothing illegal about that, but FOX definitely cranks it up given their customer base, because their passive base wants it that way and they will pay for it. They feed their customers what they want to consume and pay for. Great business model.

P.S. They paid a nearly a billsky for lying and admitted to it. When the other sites have to pay a billsky for lying then you can do your "everyone does it the same" thing you are addicted to doing. Until then only FOX has paid a billsky, with the next one maybe being Gawker that had to pay Hulk Hogan over $100 millsky for lying (and went out of business as a result).

As much as you want to believe I only watch Fox News Sunday and the odd time I'll catch the first 30 minutes of the five. In the mornings I'll alternate between Fox News and CNN news

Sure, but you watch CNN to find things to mock about them or use in one of your dozens of daily whatabouts. FOX is what gives you your nourishment for the day. Kinda obvious.

Why would you want them banned? You need them for your whatabouts when people point out the glaring flaws in your passively consumed FOX media content. You need them for your own kind of strange whatabout needs, so of course you would not want them banned.

Yes they did because they fabricated lies for consumers like you, but let us not kid ourselves on that - you and other FOX consumers do not really care. It is why you say things like CNN and MSNBC have not settled equivalent things YET. While they likely never will, that shows how much you will rationalize your beliefs to continue to support the company that feeds you what you want, and again - nothing illegal about being a passive FOX consumer as you are - they are providing you with news entertainment that you eagerly want to consume and believe, so while I am not a fan of how much they manipulate their messaging - in the end the consumers like you do not care so I cannot say they are making the wrong choice.

Honestly, you'd be twice as informed and half as outraged if you just shut off the TV and didn't watch any of it and instead read text news.

I couldn't imagine actually sitting down at a specific time to watch a news program. I think I could find 8362 other things to do before I would do that. Such an old person thing to do, like having the TV on just for background noise.

And it's like...you get that I've already read all the CP stories over about 5 minutes on my phone while eating breakfast, spending an hour to redo those stories with colour interviews from locals doesn't actually inform you of something new
