The prosecution keeps going hard in the paint on the "Rosenbaum was a couple inches shorter than Rittenhouse" angle as if that just means he's not a threat.

As some of you know, I am a giant and always have been.

I've never been more physically ****ed up in my life than I was by a 5 foot tall ball of pure muscle playing running back. I was a pretty good DE, and thought I'd play forever on easy mode because of my size. That guy was a human honey badger and gave exactly zero ****s about how much bigger I was than him. Some of my ribs might still be bruised from that game.

Never underestimate your opponents.

Anyhoo, sorry for my derail, folks!
So you think this kid should let go free now?

Agreed the height stuff is nonsense. The defense also talks about how Kyle was a 17 year old kid and the other guy was a 30 something year old man. I dunno about everyone else, but I was much stronger at 17 than I was at 30. All these arguments about height and age are unconvincing to me.

The defence lawyer must be German or Austrian. Of course you're stronger at 18. He was almost 18. Prime Mike Tyson was 18.

I think that the overall convo is very good for the right. We were talking about Jacob Blake being shot 20 times , and now we are talking about whether or not some 17 year old should be allowed to defend himself from convicted felons trying to murder him. He’s a poster child for the original idea behind projectiles; they give a nerd a chance to take down bullies.

I basically agree with everything but maybe 90% is a bit high. There are some people who should be there IMO.

If I'm a juror, I acquit on anything that carries life (basically all the 1st degree charges), but convict on something that gets him at least a 10 clip.

If I'm a legislator, I make being a cowardly moronic little dipshit playing Death Wish illegal, so I can give him 10 more consecutive just for that.

Mr. Binger was smoother and more organized in his presentation, but his snide demeanor is off-putting. Mr. Richards had some better merits arguments -- like "Binger asked a witness how he could possibly know what Rosenbaum's state of mind was ... and the witness said 'because he screamed **** YOU at me" but was a bit scattershot and disorganized.

One structural issue on the jury charge: if a jury finds self-defense on a first-degree charge, that finding applies to the associated second-degree charge as well.

Binger is smug and condescending and not at all personable. He should have let his sidekick do all the talking.

Richards sounds like a bit of a moron, but maybe that's just a speech impediment.

You'd think he could pronounce "Grosskreutz" correctly at this point in a trial.

He said "white supremist" twice in his closing.

Kyle Rittenhouse is probably thinking, “I hope the jury deliberates quickly I’ve got more streets I need to defend. “

Just a little thought experiment: 17 year old black kid turns up at a white pride rally with an AR-15, ends up sparking up a couple of good ole boys, claims self defence. How do we think that trial goes?

If the good old boys beat him with a skateboard and pointed a gun at him it's obviously self defense and he'll get off. He's still a dumbass though.

If you were an insecure 17-year-old kid wanting to look like a badass by bringing an AR15 to a riot and never expecting to use it, what would you have honestly done in his situation?
