3k cashout requested to Neteller on the 15th April, recieved today. So Neteller cashouts for non-US seem to be slow but consistent.

I'm a US player and after about a month and a half of waiting for a check request of $1500 it was finally processed.

For all you guys still waiting... be persistent and send angry emails to support and don't settle for the prepared emails they send to everyone.

So far, I have not received the two missing cards.

It's so sick how they process small amounts fast and if you request 5k+ they make you wait minimum 3 weeks. Site is a joke and wouldn't be surprised if they are almost broke.

My check request from 4/7 was processed today (5/4). Not too much different from before Black Friday in that respect. I'll post again if and when it clears. Haven't had problems with them before though.

Anyone withdraw with usemywallet lately? After reading that paper checks were taking so long lately I used the usemywallet option to withdraw and wondering what the wait time is these days.

I think the wait on pretty much everything is ages and it has more to do with the size of your withdrawal than the method.

Got my check from Cake yesterday, which is about 3 days after they began finally processing it after a month of waiting.

Wait for it...

IT CLEARED MY BANK!!! Yay, for things kinda running like they should. Now, if I can just get my money from UB order will be restored to the universe.

"cleared" does not mean cleared....the bank just released the funds to you, it could still bounce

My cashout hit my UMW account today...so 19 days total.

I've never had to use paper checks to cash out before. I've seen that 30 days after deposit is the general rule for assuming funds have cleared. Can anyone confirm that this is generally true, or should I potentially wait longer to be safe?

They have a golden opportunity to gain market share. Do they even care?
I really can't understand why they can't put it together and get things right?

I do understand that at this time, speedy cashouts aren't really possible. But add some excellent customer service to the mix and it makes thing alright (as long as the cashouts eventually come through and in the meantime they are responsive to their customers' concerns).

Come on Cake, make it happen! If you do, you'll get the business.

All checks that have ever bounced on me have bounced within 3 weeks (and I've had many thanks to FTP). I did some reading on this once, and I vaguely recall that the absolute longest it would take would be 60 days. I also recall that you can call your bank and ask them using some specific wording (something like, has the bank received "final payment" on this check?), as opposed to asking if it has cleared. I think it took me about 30-60 mins of internet searching to fully figure out the process...but it was several years ago so I don't remember it clearly.

You're right, I jumped the gun a bit. I'll add this as well...
Before depositing the check I looked up the business listed on the check, it was "xxxxxx " and it came up with very dubious results. Also, the number listed went straight voicemail even within the business hours stated. I don't know if this means anything, but it sorta makes me concerned about the remainder of my dough. Is this weird or just par for the course?

I'm waiting for a check from Cake. It is my 1st withdrawal from the site.

Day after day the withdrawal sits on the Cashier page where it says "Pending". It also has a button right next to it that will cancel it if I click on it.

I believe it said they use a courier service to deliver these checks. Does anybody know what courier service it is. UPS, Fed Ex, or Pony Express?

I am serious about this though...does anybody know how the checks are delivered?

I find it hard to believe that with what is going on now....that Cake wouldn't get their a_ss in gear...they could pick up so many American customers if they just knew they could make withdrawals & receive them in a reasonable amount of time.

The poker pro that Cake had repping their site (Lee Jones) that used to post here is gone & the way he left didn't exactly inspire anybody. In his last post he said "I'm leaving Cake because I don't like the direction they are heading".

For American players...I think many of us are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I didn't care for playing at PokerStars & haven't been following what's going on there very much. But I think that even with what has happened to them....folks there are getting their money from that site faster than Cake (is this right).....& Cake hasn't had to deal with what has happned to Stars.....Yet.

As an American player I REALLY miss Neteller too. It just seems like one negative issue after another.

The US Government should butt out of their citizens business...they have more important things to do. What they should do is let an American company open an internet site & be regulated by proper authorities that will really regulate the place. And the US goverment could make a ton of money off of it. And we wouldn't have to deal with some company in a place like the Isle of Man who have their servers in Antigua & their customer service in India.

I could go on about the state of online poker for American players....but what's the point?

If Cake poker would just send me an E-mail telling me something like....we are having such & such problems...but it looks at this point your check will reach you sometime next week. That's it.

If they just did that...even though it will have taken a very long time....I would have more confidence in them & might even reply to the E-mail thanking them for keeping me abreast of the situation.

US players really have no recourse to whatever happens.
I think it is "Caviet Emptor" (Let the Buyer Beware)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I requested a cash out via paper check on April 11th. Ever since then in the cashier section of the software it said my withdrawal was "pending". Well, today I checked again, and it is no longer in the cashier section as "pending".

To those who have recently received checks from them, does this mean they are processing my check now? If so, about how long after they start processing it will I receive my check in the mail? I live in the US as well.

Also, this will be my first time cashing out via check from any online poker site. Where should I cash the check at? Does anyone know what bank Cake uses, and if I will be asked any questions when I try to cash the check? Isn't it illegal in the US for banks to process poker transactions? The check will be for $1300.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You should have it anytime now. When that dropped off the page, it seemed to be processed and came in the mail quickly. Thats my experience anyway!

Thanks highball! After I receive the check where should I cash it at? Will I be asked any questions by the bank where I try to cash it at being that gambling transactions are supposed to be blocked by US banks? I just wanna be prepared and don't need any hassle when I try to cash this thing.

the check won't come from cake, but a payment processor. just cash it at your bank.

likely no one will ask you anything. if they do, just say you do contract work and leave it at that.
