US player. Made a 4 figure cashout request at the end of March, only a week or so before black Friday. Got paid via check at the beginning of this month, cash in my bank account.

Made another 4 figure request a few days ago, we'll see how long this one takes.

I made my first withdrawal from Cake Poker in early April. I sent the documents they requested when I joined the site & they were accepted...so there is no problem with that.

I requested a check withdrawal. I'm still waiting. My withdrawal just sits on the Cashier page with the words "Pending Cashout"....with a button next to it that I can push to cancel the withdrawal (which I have found to be typical at most internet poker sites for the obvious reason).

What I hadn't found to be typical....was a site that said I would recieve the check in 10 to 15 business days...and still not recieve the check even though it is way past 15 business days now. I also was never sent an E-mail from them telling me why what they stated on their site wasn't happening.

Wouldn't they want to relieve the anxiety they must know their customers are experiencing who are waiting & waiting to be paid?

I believe the site said the check was sent by courier. Does anybody know what Courier service they use? Fed-Ex? UPS? Pony Express?

I am serious about that. Does anybody know what Courier they use?

I recently sent them an E-mail asking about my withdrawal & I got a reply saying they had fallen behind early last month & were working on getting the checks out to their customers.

It looked like a generic reply that was probably set up to send to anybody who hadn't received payment...so they could just press a button for the reply & not have to actually write a reply to their customer.

I can't believe it is still just sitting there saying pending. How can they be so incompetent? Although I'm not sure that is the reason. It sort of looks like they just want to hold on to your money as long as they can. At this point...I'm not even sure they intend to pay me.

Maybe they are going to wait as long as possible to see if the other shoe drops & the US government is going to shut them down too.

Although it would seem to me that at this time when a whole bunch of players are going to be looking for other sites to play at.....they would pay the customers they already have faster than usual....which would be good "word of mouth" advertising for their site.

They obviously know that many players belong to forums such as this that can influence their business. But Alas...they don't seem to care.

To use a phrase we have heard from the government a lot over the past 10 years. Does anybody have any "actionable intelligence" regarding this situation at "Cake Poker"?

dex 1 - checks come by fed ex. they have been fairly consistent in the 3-4 (5 at most) week timeframe.

Received cashout today via check that I requested about 15 business days ago. You need to email them a lot nagging them but they are cashing out USA based players post black friday! Spread the word that cashouts are flowing at cake!

I'm from USA and just received an $800 cashout from Cake into my UMW account in 2 weeks. I emailed them several times, not sure if that sped the process up or not.

Had a 5k w/d from Cake hit my UMW account. Took about three weeks. Of course, now UMW is having issues so I had to move it to Carbon for the time being.

i tried the same thing yesterday, as UMW was an option early in the day... 2 hours later when i pulled up the deposit page on merge, UMW option vanished...so back to cake and 15 days of waiting that i'll never get back...gl

def check the UMW threads ASAP if u have monieZ there... imo, it'd be smart to move any and all outta UMW

Cancelled withdrawal that has been in "Pending Status" for atleast 10 days now. I'm well aware that Cake is probably the slowest online poker operation out there and that UMW withdrawals were averaging about 1 month's time but I had to cancel it anyway due to recent developments regarding UseMyWallet. Personally, I rather have my money on Cake Poker then in limbo or stuck on UMW.

Glad i read this thread, was gonna deposit here but it looks like merge is the better choice atm, thanks for all the updates/advice everyone, hope you guy's get your $$ soon.

not sure what makes u think merge is "the better choice"(traffic?)... please explain... software sucks and cashouts are an issue everywhere

Requested a check after hearing all the horrible umw stuff today.

If anyone who got a check recently can verify, I'm assuming the long wait for these 3-4 week check cashouts is the pending time and then once pending is over it's 2-5 days to actually send the check like normal?

Correct. My latest check experience was 4 weeks pending...get check in a few days after it goes out of pending status. Rec'd check around May 5th or 6th.

I`ve been waiting for a check withdraw since april 18 and it`s still pending .

So it's looking now like withdrawing via check is going to be the way to go. Other than them being really really slow people haven't had problems with bouncing, them never showing up, etc? A consistent pattern of it taking a long ass time but getting your money?
