Man, give the guy a chance. He is only trying something new, nobody is forcing anyone to go and play on the site. If you think its BS then just don't go there, if it ends up being a technological step back then it will be busto in 6 months. I think his idea behind burn cards is to mirror a live game as much as possible, obviously burn cards are not needed online but it won't hinder the game any.

The issue is that they tout burn cards as a sign of trustworthiness. That implication has obviously worked on some people, as we've seen in this thread. Letting it slide to "give the guy a chance" is allowing him to imply the other sites are more likely to be rigged without burn cards.

If anything we should all work together to point when any site is blowing smoke. The more informed the community is the less we will get scammed.

Ummm...no. This is a discussion forum about internet poker not a self help group for mentally challenged entrepreneurs.

BTW,If the burn card was the worst of his ideas, we wouldn't even be discussing this site.

I was more implying to give the guy a chance and see how the whole thing works before everyone goes after him with burning torches. The burn card comment was more in answer to a question a previous post had about why the site owner has decided there is to be a burn card ( there are some vids on you tube somewhere where he explains this).

FYP

I loved the one where he said he'd give anyone 1000 to 1 odds that he can...then he rambles for about 2 minutes and basically comes down to...get a 3rd party to say you received a single deck in a hand of online poker. Now that's putting your money where your mouth is. What does that even mean? No duplicate cards were dealt? Outstanding! Truly innovative!

Apt name mickhead even if the spelling is a bit off, very mature to quote me and change the wording. I see you must have headed the debating team at some point, maybe politics is a good route for you to follow!

Welcome to 2+2 you'll see a lot of "FYP - fixed your post" replies here. I actually don't do them very often. Once you build up a thick skin to criticism you'll enjoy your stay here.

Really the criticism wasn't even aimed at you. It was at the site founder who can't string two sentences together.

I wonder how many accounts the owner has here. Has he outed himself? Or does he just read posts and make you tube vids to respond? I am interested to see this site in operation though. gl RD.
And ya, his fyp was a good one.

After watching those videos I definitely wouldn't deposit on this site ever. The guy doesn't seem very business savvy and you can't trust someone like that in charge. If he wants this to be a success then he will need to become a more professional character. Right now everything just seems like a basement operation... not gonna be a good site at all.

bottom line if this is a site where bad poker players are going to go to play... and most everybody who post on two plus two believes themselves to be anything but a bad poker player and use post here as evidence thereof...why bash the site..why try to ruin it. Wouldn't all you great poker player want to play against the bad poker players? This whole thread is LOL...

Its simple his machine shuffle a deck it cuts a deck it scans the data of hat deck into a computer... the computer deals that deck... Let him sell his brand of the hamburger and the market will allow it to live or die...

He doesn't come off as the sharpest individual, but I wouldn't condemn the whole operation for that. He just needs to be smart enough to hire a spokesperson rather than carrying that torch himself.

It is pretty funny that the interviewer guy just looks like a deer in headlights the whole time. After the rambling he's just like "uh...ok...so next question...ah I've got the same question here. Maybe you could answer it this time."

No I'm not the site owner... Just stating my impression.

Shouldn't good poker players like your self "bumb hunt" and why not go to a site where the bumbs are going to play?

You shouldn't bag the system he seems to have proven he has a legitimate shuffling system.. You should be more concerned with the integrity of the money.

How isn't it not 'entirely true"... what evidence has the blogosphere uncovered by watching his videos?

You should read this thread, Stephen.

The bottom line is they figured out they couldn't create enough decks by machine (duh). So they use some bizarre algorithm to create more virtual decks..... by computer!!! On a site built on the promise of dealing a real deck.

I live in the US. His site doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I just find it really funny that someone dedicated 5 years of their life to making online poker less efficient.

Since when has he proven he has a legitimate shuffling system? He's told us he has a legitimate shuffling system. I haven't seen any proof.

I did go looking for the play money download that someone said they were playing on. I couldn't find anywhere to download it though.

This serves as excellent cliff notes for the entire thread, IMO.

Lock it down, mods, lock it down.
