Sorry I treat people/businesss how I am treated- and all these unneeded
changes are bs! To address my concerns????? hmmmm it may be oto late, i
looks like there will be changes wihout hearing from mine or any other
players oponions. I don't think I could offend Pokerstars or their staff as
bad as I feel Iv been treated bcause of these uneeded changes on games which
got me my "YEARLY" status of Supernova Elite

^^^^^ It's understandably frustrating when you study and play a game planning on raking $100,000+ for stars and then they quickly pull the rug out from under you. I had plans to play a bunch of hyper turbo sngs this year, but with the structure change in those, I decided against it. Then I found the plo cap games, and I have raked $2,000 in the last 5 days of playing only a few hours/day. I was really excited about playing the cap games for the rest of the year and shooting for 500,000vpps, but now I have to give that up. It's just super disappointing and frustrating for players like myself and ih8money. I know there must be a lot more of us in the same boat, but not everyone reads 2+2

welll..... i will be sarchin out whatver game Pokrstars profits the least- if its micro's or whatver I dont care- i remember at one tim I researched 1/2 Limi fullring as a supernova was around 60% rakeback I imagine as elite I might be around 80-90% lol anyways bye bye I will be doing my homework tomake sure whats best for me- screw pokerstars for pulling this.

Props to PokerStars for listening to the players and for separating Omaha from NLHE as a different kind of game, which it is. It's a big step forward in customers relationship.

The decision was not based on "most people's opinion" since pokerstars never really had a direct poll of all plo players. There was a thread that some regulars saw and posted in, that isn't "most people's opinion".

Why don't you just not play cap tables if you don't like them? Why don't you adjust to them and learn how to beat them? The same argument goes both ways. Some players like 20bb plo, you don't have to play it if you don't like it. Nobody is forcing you to play it, and it doesn't harm you in any way. If you are concerned about too many fish playing 20bb poker, then you should be the one to "grow up and adjust" if you want to play these fish.

I don't understand how you can have CAP on holdem but not Omaha. Whether the changes are right or wrong you need to stop messing with your games in the middle of the year when you have a yearly rewards program. It's ******ed pissing off a small subset of players.

Why the hell didn't you just implement this change a LONG time ago. This would've solved all your problems at holdem and omaha. Instead of constantly shuffling the buyins you would've satisfied most fullstackers and the shortstackers would've adjusted by not ratholing asap.

Poll or not, read this thread and it's obvious what the majority wanted.

As antchev said, not everyone will be satisfied but if you can cater to the majority, you've done a good job.

You do realize there are many, many players who play online poker who don't read or post on 2+2? There might be 20 people who said they don't like cap in this thread, I didn't count. A small handful said they like or don't mind cap. Hardly a vast majority in favor of removal.

As far as "catering to the majority".. what is wrong with catering to the minority as well? (since stars clearly has the capability). We could cater to the majority even further and just eliminate all PLO! Because hey most poker players don't play PLO! Oh wait, that would be really absurd.

Lets remove omaha hi/lo because it's breaking up the omaha players into high only and hi/lo. Oh wait..

Maybe I started drinking a lil early last night, but honest question, from when you played 20 bb PLO- how hard did you have to think? how many tabls did you play? how many vpp's per hour? compared to playing 30+ bb. I'm betting your having to think a lot more, play a lot less than half the tables than before which = half the vpp pr hour than before... so whatever. thatsmy point


They are completely removing a game- 20 BB PLO- which I earned 600k+ vpp . Why can't they leave at least the 20 BB Cap, which are huge rake money making tables. Whats with this "test" for the cap tables? is it because after looking- the % of winners is microscopic because of the rake??? I don't undrstand a year long "test" During peak hours there have been 10+ of them running- I looked at them as 100 vpp per hour tables- which I had planned on getting back into after a month away from PLO.

If i was a casual player thats where I would be- not looking at the long term effct of the high rake- and thats the game someone could deposit $200 and have it over $1000 in an hour without even playing good. Making them believe they are good.

Why not leave the 20bb 2/4 cap and see where the players play?? If after a monh theres always less than 4 then drop them, if they are clogging up your lobby Pokerstars.

Bottomline- i enjoyed that game- even if it is "unbeatable" because of the rake. This isn just a change its a complete removal of 20 BB PLO so you guys go play your "manly" 30+ bb poker where you use 10 seconds to think every single hand. I'd rather be allin and move on to the next table
