Just looking for truth from someone who does not work for GP.
Hugoism #11 What keeps you from playing as good as you think you are? Not being as good as you think you are.
Yes, so far. Getting crushed at 0.25/0.50 PLO, but I've won two MTTs and done fine at other stakes cash games. I'm at 2.67x my initial deposit. (Edit: just filtered my cash game stats and $0.25/$0.50 PLO 6-max is the only variant I'm losing at, but it's been bad enough that it has negated all my other cash game winnings.)
I am good. Poker is my job:
Some Live Tourney Stats
I did pretty good on Bovada before it became Ignition and the cash games basically disappeared. Admittedly, when they made cashing out difficult (I don't have a BitCoin account) I just started max late regging tourneys and basically punting my remaining bankroll. I was down to my last $7.71 and honestly moderately relieved to be done with that site, but I ended up winning the tournament outright. I whiffed yesterday though, which was about 60% of my remaining bankroll.
I am a live cash game player, but I've had great success at the WSOP last two years - and I've taken 1st in three online tourneys this week. I basically treat online poker as training to keep myself sharp in variants that aren't live LHE, which is how I make my living.
No idea how many posts I have on this site, but I'd guess > 100.
I don't work for Global.
But I have referred no less than six players in the last couple days and I haven't even been trying. It would be cool if they set up some sort of referral program or rakeback system because I have a 500+ player pool that would probably be interested in signing up and, uhm, call it greed if you want, but my reach is too large for me to just gift that over to Global with no compensation.
