would you guys prefer dual 30 or 20/30/20 setup?

I have a friend who has dual 30s and when he saw my 20/30/20 he got very jealous and wants to switch. He says he's basically just not able to use the dual 30s as efficiently as he would have liked. Also, it looks sicker IMO and with dual 30s you have a big black bezel in the middle of your viewing area which I imagine might be annoying. It also costs less money.

its thin and light, portable, extremely well built/solid, great screens, and definitely affordable.
it may not be as gimmicky or cool as some of the more popular or newer laptops/tablets etc but it comes with an amazing screen(full HD) and great hardware, especially for the price.

FYI, these are directly comparable with the MacBook Pros and come in at half the price or less....you can find them even cheaper if you pick up a 1st gen model that come with Windows 7 instead of the new windows 8.

highly recommend them. amazing screen.
This looks very nice and has pretty nice specs for what I need it for. My only question for you is are the touchpad and keyboard as bad as the reviews people are giving it? I've read that the touchpad is nearly unusable since it's so erratic and the keyboard repeats keystrokes from time to time and is not a pleasure to type with. I would like to use the touchpad when I'm playing while relaxing around the house and also for various other activities so I would like to know if it is reliable. It would seem like they improved on the newer versions but a) I don't want Windows 8, b) they're more money and c) have specs/hardware I don't necessarily need. Any input you can provide is much appreciated.

I know this is an annoying type of post...but I want to spend ~$500 for a new desktop PC. I already have the monitors. I also don't want to order the pieces separately and put it together. Just looking for the best value cheap tower that would be used exclusively for grinding.

College kid looking to replace my laptop (my old one i had for a few years decided to completely die, something is seriously wrong with the motherboard)
Basically all the comp would be for is grinding (running a hud and all that), using microsoft, browsing the internet, listening to music... (I'm not much of a gamer).
I'm willing to spend as much as what a 15in macbook pro w retina would run me,around 2k.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated

Yeah I think im going to get some raandom 30 inch. I already have a 22 inch dell but if I want to do anything more than 6 table it overlaps and the HUD is very small etc. Plan to use the 22 inch for lobbies and HEM etc.

Anyone recommend a 27-32 inch? Most of my volume is on stars nowadays so something with a res that fits the default table sizes will be nice. Dont want to spend more than £300 - more like £200 if possible as I am spending more than £200 on a new SSD as mine is already full

Question to you guys about laptops. I use to mainly play on my desktop because of its 1600x1200 resolution monitor that i have. So when i have 4 tables opened, there is no overlap on pokerstars. It is the dell 2007fp.

The thing is I would 30 table and so as more tables open up, each table would be behind one of the other four tables. I dont know whats the name of this but its like tileing except i only tile 4 tables. Then the other 26 tables are on back of each one of those four tables so as each table has a decision, it would pop up etc. So basically i always see 4 tables without overlap when im playing.

Can someone recommend me a laptop that can do this? The thing is I want to do this where the size of the table is same size and doesn't shrink because its very hard for me to see the cards when i shrink the size of the tables like how i see many of you do.

Is there a laptop that does this? Currently have a 14.1' laptop which obviously cannot do this. Resolution is the standard for a 14.1' laptop.

Does that mean the laptop has to be 1600x1200 minimum resolution? Do they make these anymore? Or does it have to be 1920x1200? Someone said 1080p is fine but isn't that 1920x1080? I assume 17' laptop would be a must for this? Would a 15.4 be too small for that?

The other thing is i would need to run HEM and Holdem Manager along with 30 tabling.

Can someone please help recommend a mouse that is easy(cause least effort) to click? My fingers are sore from mouse clicking, fairly painful from time to time.

Right now, I have logitech trackman marble and logitech m310, rotating all my fingers for the clicking. And I wish to get another wireless mouse that cause less effort than logitech m310 for the mouse clicking.

by the way, can someone also recommend a keyboard that is easier to type, i.e., cause less effort pushing down the keys? my current keyboard is a Logitech deluxe 250, very cheap model. Thanks a lot!

I hate to tell you this but you need a break. There's no mouse or KB that's going to be much of an improvement - you need to listen to your body. If you can't quit then start exercising and see a Dr.

The Razer Mamba is pretty good imo.
I suffer from arthritis and this is the only mouse I can easily play long sessions with without experiencing too much pain in my hand joints. I use it in combination with the razer nostromo tho.

wont lie to you the trackpad and keyboard arent for everyone and are not on the level of the macbook pros.
keyboard is a unique style and is great for fast typers but some people really hate the way it feels. trackpad....if you update the drivers and adjust the settings its definitely fine for general usage like web surging/skype **** like that...its actually called a gesture pad not a trackpad if that gives you any idea of its limitations but i defintely think the problems/complaints are overblown if not completely inaccurate once you update the drivers(which is very easy).

BTW for poker I would almost assume you would use an external mouse for anything over 1 or 2 tabling....the pad is fine but like any trackpad ive used will be a headache for playhing a lot of tables and serious grinding.
the screen on this thing is fkn amazing is so nice for poker i can tile like 12 tables and easily see my cards and tiny bet amounts and pot sizes....the matte finish on the 15" models is still very vibrant and extremely bright at the same time it works wonders for reducing the glare from sunlight or whatever when you get blasted.

and FYI i can report back after using it for several months as my MAIN grind station its really a great, solid device....extremely well built tight tolerances used in manufacturing process.

the ONLY complain i have is the battery life or lack there of. its not really a major issue for me since i basically use this as my main computer now and i can keep the thing charged in most of the time. the real problem is the screen it uses so much power that the battery life is inherently limited unless you drop the brightness all the way down. i get about 4 hours of constant usage on a normal but not max brightness setting....it can be extended upwards of 6hours if you tweak the settings and use minimal brigthness.
