120gb probably isn't enough for everything

HM2 postgres import produces a realllly large log file. You can delete this periodically to save space. It is known.

yes, mine works fine. I had to change a setting first though (in windows on mac) otherwise hem thought the tables were about 25% smaller than they actually were: resolution 2880x1800 and control panel/display/smaller (100%)

I am able to tile 24 or 30 tables if I wanted but I prefer to keep it to 12 so they are bigger. the main problem is physical screen space, it would be better if they made a 17" version but im still happy with it and its way better for playing on than what i had before.

You won't find one cheaper that is for sure and monoprice makes good stuff anyway.

Also, if 2560x1600 just isn't enough:

TV though.
When shall we see reasonably priced 4k monitors?
I reckon they'd need to be over 40" though so pixel pitch won't be too tiny.

Would start a thread here. New processors coming out soon iirc, prob makes sense to wait if your spending that much imho. Provide as much info as possible if you already have ideas in mind. Gl

hey guys

need some help with a small but annoying issue.

I have an HP laptop with 2 screens to it. one is a 27", the other one a 22". the bigger one is connected with an hdmi cable, the other one with a VGA.

27" on the left, 22" on the right

the black space at the bottom is just like cut out, as you can see on an example of a new opened table here:

same happens at the top, so I'm just like missing a part of the screen.

here are my settings (sorry for it being in german):

what am I doing wrong?

I got my workstation (W) thinkpad, a dock and a monitor for about 2k. Nice powerful laptop and I use it as a desktop most of the time as I have the dock, but it is nice to be able to pop the computer off the dock and put it in a bag when i go away or whatever.

As other poster mentioned you should delete these files, they're not part of the database you use for poker. Try searching large log files in the holdem manager forums to see if you can switch it off. In HEM itself you can do a full Vacuum analyze+full which will reduce the size of your poker DB and speed it up.

^ there actually is a tutorial wrt how to stop HEM creating those logfiles

Not if it is already full. You need about the space of the DB empty in order to do this. I had this problem.
