If it were that simple, we would have few trolls, rather than trolling being a popular part of 2+2 liberalism. Compassion is a must for dealing with trolling, but that doesn't equate to being silent about their behavior or withholding direct, blunt criticism.

Yes. I am sure that you are making the common mistake of thinking that at least some of the discussion in a forum with the name "politics" in it would involve something at least remotely related to "politics."

Instead, this forum has to do with the Greek "poly" meaning "many," and "tics" meaning "blood sucking insects."

The other Politics forum is no better, other than that amusingly occasionally has someone randomly blurting out the name of a politician (someone who studies groups of tics) and if you specifically call someone "stupid" that they hand out prizes called "infractions."
