Perhaps the game started late. I dont think they usually have a NL game during the day. I got there at about 8pm and they paid a few regulars 30 bucks at about 830pm. I bet that you are right and the 30 dollars is if you help start the game no matter when it is started.

By the way, I was at Royale before I went over to Limelight and Royale was down to two tables by 7pm (NL and PL). I guess Monday nights are slow during the summer. Perhaps Monday nights will pick up during football season.

Wow, so it looks like there is really no interest in Crazy Pineapple! Thanks guys! I just lost $50! Lol I thought there was a cult following for it? I think I would have a lot of fun in a Crazy Pineapple tournament!

I played in a crazy pineapple tournament at the Peppermill in Reno a few years ago. I think there were 3 tables. Half of the talk at the table was debating the differences between Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple. It was fun but I don't know if it would catch on.

I think they should make the main event crazy pineapple next year. It would really bring a lot of exposure to the game.

Last years Chop Pot Classic at Peppermill (Sept 2011), the crazy Pineapple MTT got the worst turnout of all the offerings. Could have been due to the too-high entry fee for a relatively obscure game. That was the consensus at our O/8 table. They got less than 20 entries.
HORSE got 50+, 1st day O/8 got 90+.

So when does the 2/5 game go at Royale? I have given up on there being a decent 5/10 around here.

Sacramento 2/5 and 5/10 has really dried up. Before the WSOP royale had a great 2/5 or 5/10 every week day. Right now it seems they only can get it going on tuesdays.

2-5 at CR plays like 5-10 on Tuesdays, usually Wednesday's is a bit more tamed. Game starts around 5pm.

Delta casino in Stockton has a 25 dollar promo for 3 hours played during the week(1-2 NL)..30 bucks (1-2-2) on the weekends

You have to get in the game or at least get your name on the list before noon to qualify.

We must keep that PLO game at CR alive..I'll be there Monday.

CR's 2-3, 5 to open PLO on Monday ran from 5pm-6am, 1-2 PLO last night ran from 4pm -6:30am, I started and ended both, the lineup was tremendous! Both games pretty much ran with a straddle the whole time. (although it is UTG only) I recommend if you prefer a normal lower variance PLO game that you start the game, by midnight you need 1k min to be effective IMO. (lol low variance PLO)

Thx, that's what I figured. Most people who play PLO are terrible. Will definitely be checking out that game as well.

You could try to sell action in the marketplace. Do you mostly just play small tourneys?

Oh, man. No offense but that is not what the marketplace is for.

I didn't mean for him to solicit a discount on an entry using the marketplace.
