A lot of the day shift didn't come in but I'd expect the swing shift to be near 100% normal, the roads are fine (aside from some black ice patches).

.....so rumor has it the following hand occurred at 1/2NL. AA raises to $30. TT calls......KK Re-raises AIPF to $400. AA is AIPF, and TT folds , saying can't call $400 & flips for all to see

Heard this same story as well...a couple of reg that sat next to me (I only know they were regs because they talked to the rest of the regs) said that they were buying in short because of the BBJ. Not sure that I would do that but I though it was interesting.

I will be returning to Foxwoods for the first time in a few years January 7-9th and I was hoping I could get some people together for pool, bowling, food, etc. and maybe some shenanigans at Shrine on Tuesday since I'm a casino employee in another state. I'd be willing to go in on a bottle with anyone on here who is interested. I'm coming out for a solo poker trip so I'm hoping I can meet a few more 2p2'ers this time.

As far as poker is concerned, has 10/20 - 30/60 OE been running recently? Last time I was there it was a staple. If not, what mixed games have been running and at what limit?

Bbj was exciting being this high, but the worst part of it being hit is the games were so good during this run. Granted it was the holidays but Monday got 11 2/5s. About on par to a Saturday. Sigh.

Here's the dirty on the bad beat hit from Saturday:
Table 13 2-4 Limit game... 7-9 in spades vs 8-8... Flop is 5-6-8 all spades for the flopped straight flush.... 8 ends up hitting on the river to make quad 8's. Table goes nuts... They sip champagne as they await payment... Dude that smashed the big end takes most of it in ca$h!!! Room returns to normal.

The reserve was being built up just as the main jackpot was. At any given time the reserve is a little more than half the main. So when the main hits, they take about 2/3 of the reserve and make that the new main.

Rounding off:
Main was 600k, reserve was 350k
Main now 215k, reserve now 135k

Does anyone have any information on the new rewards program that hey are supposed to be rolling out next month? Last thing I heard was the letter I got saying that they were rolling out a new program in February but it gave no other details. Anyone who has heard any inside info, leaks, or rumors fill us in. Im anxious to see how this will unfold... will it mean more or less comps from the marketing department or just status quo repackaged and resold to us. I also wonder if it will effect the point per hour rates for poker players and if the black card extra points perk will remain in place under the new system.
